Should Christians Still Sabbath?

There remains for the people of God a Sabbath rest. As we continue our Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope series, Pastor Mike reminds us of the commandment given in Exodus 20 to "remember the Sabbath, making it holy unto the Lord." There's a promise of rest that runs throughout all of scripture, yet so many of us try to push the limit by working 24/7. We are wired for Sabbath and rest, our weekly gift from God of restoration.

This is great!!! And right on time for me.... but 2nd service yesterday was INCREDIBLE!!!! MULTIPLE PEOPLE BAPTIZED WE WERE IN PRAYER A D WORSHIP IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MOMENT HALLELUYAH PRAISE YAHUAH 👏🏾 🙌🏾 🙏🏾

Grace AND truth at the same time. Thank you Jesus! Clearly we are burning ourselves out, but I struggle not to react with religious duties and legalism. The church is obviously missing something related to this command. Thank God for Gospel wisdom and truth.

Thanks for the comment Terry. Our production heavy culture can definitely distract us from resting, and thankfully as followers of Jesus we can depend on the scriptures to realign us and point us back to God's original, good design. We appreciate you 🙂
