What has the corporate world turned santa into though? All I see is a red man making kids obsessed with materialism

@michael.waddell There is nothing wrong with materialism. America is filled to the brim with it and we are a country that was founded by Christians.

With my little brother, my parents told him that “Santa” was just a game, so he understood early on that Santa wasn’t real

That is fine and all, but why celebrate a satanic lie on the day we celebrate Yahushua (Jesus)? Satan has many names, old Nick is one of them. People don’t be fooled, Santa is not all knowing, he doesn’t know if you’ve been good or bad and he doesn’t give any gifts. God is all knowing and He gave the best gift of all, why do you need an unhealthy fat man? Please stop comparing Jesus to Santa. Ask yourself why Santa comes down through a fireplace? It’s fire, like the pits of Hell. I do celebrate Christmas, but Santa has no place in my home and my children never felt they were missing anything because Yahushua is the greatest gift of all!

Yeah the more I think about it the more I understand that if you tell a child someone blesses you with gifts then tell them one day that is a lie how can they believe in god.

We tell our kids that “Santa” was a real man, but he doesn’t come and break in our house to bring gifts and all other things that goes along with it. We teach the truth

Teach about the real Santa...saint Nicholas was a great guy

Anyone that celebrates Christmas as Jesus’ birthday might just as well believe in Santa Claus because neither is actually true….. it’s so obvious that the reason that time frame was even picked was to turn people away from celebrating the winter solstice and the birthday of Sol Invictus and other Roman festivals such as Saturnalia. Choosing that time frame was the most brilliant way to pull the masses together and create one of the greatest cults of all time.

But, did St. Nick actually punch (or slap) the heretic Arius during the Council of Nicaea? 🤔

Differentiate the North Pole Santa Claus who is an idol and not omniscient.. From Turkeys Christian Saint Nikolas. Yuletides are not right, not the pagan influences

I beg to differ. We're not to worship any saints. Only, Jesus Christ gets all the Praise and Glory! Jesus is The Mediator between man and God and He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.(1Tim 2:5)(John 14:6)(Exodus 20:1)(NKJV) You should just share Jesus Christ, Only! Cause, He is The, Only, Reason, For The Christmas-Season! Talking about someone else, During The Christmas-Season, takes the focus off of Christ. Think about it... How would you feel, lf every year, On your Birthday, People talked, More, About some other dude, Who was a, Good-Deed, Doer, lnstead of focusing, On you, and Celebrating your Birthday? I think you might be, Quite, angered, About that.

Oh how you are misinformed. Catholics and orthodox DO NOT WORSHIP Saints! That is an abhorrent teaching of the many flavors of protestantism. A horrible and wicked satanic lie meant to divide Christians further. IF you ask neighbors and friends to pray for you in your time of need, that is NO DIFFERENT than in prayer asking a Saint to also pray for you. Quite frankly, if Christians weren't so prejudiced against eastern Christianity, and actually understood abs learned about the Saints they would actually learn more about Jesus and how to live more Christ like. But the arrogance deeply rooted in the protestant flavors of Christianity keeps people in the darkness. Seek history. Ask those who actually know the purpose of the saints... and remember God made us all capable of becoming saints, it's satan that wants us to thing wicked and vile things about them.

We always told our kids he's not real. Only St Nicholas. Our second once thought he was (public school system). She went through all the rituals and discovered that it didn't work. She learned we would never purposely lie. Have mistaken information, forgotten details, unrevealed details, carefully choosing our words. etc but we would not lie. She learned that day we were right that Santa is not real. It would be nice if he is but he's not.

Born again believers in Jesus don’t celebrate or have anything to do with Christmas

Your comment is way too broad and ambiguous to determine what you are referring to exactly when you say celebrate. I’m born again and a believer in Jesus. I also put up Christmas lights, a tree and do a gift exchange on Dec 25th like many other Christians. I can’t speak for 100% of other Christians who do the same or what their relationship w/ Christ is but you can judge all you want. It doesn’t matter I’m confident I’m in dwelt by the Holy Spirit, aware that I have been saved by grace, through faith and that Christ will return for me and those who also believe in the gospel and trust in his death (for our sins), burial and resurrection.

So... to be a born again, I need to believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior and do the "work" of not celebrating his birth.
