I just bought 2022 2.0 version and happy with it. What I want is the space, safety and drive comfort. But when I test drive in highway it is a bit under power. For young man who need speed better go for 1.5. My uncle driving style not worth to spend 17k more for the turbo engine.

mine is 11.2km per litre, turbo more efficient but drive like turtle with turbo is wrong. must drive like mat rempit with turbo so not as fuel efficient compared to 2.0

If you're type that always like to drive hard on the 1.5 Turbo engine, then you'll be servicing it more frequently than the 2.0L engine. But bare in mind that in long term, the maintainig the 1.5 will be slightly cheaper or the same as the 2.0 engine because the small 1.5 engine require less lube oil during change out & less fuel consumption spend for the whole year. But if theres a problem with the Turbo, thats a different story!!

If you can consider the 1.5T, it probably means you can afford it. Then there is no question which you should get. The 1.5T is a better engine, the consumption is much lower and the low end torque is much higher ( better driveability) With regards to the 3-5000 I’m servicing, it only applies to those who frequently gun their engine. The service interval drops the harder the engine is driven.

Thats wrong the 1.5t has more torque at a lower rev band from 1900 rpm than the non Turbo 2.0 torque comes in from 3500rpm and Turbo charged engines perform better at altitude they keep compression high where as non Turbos lose compression, if you live at a high altitude the 1.5 will be a better engine over the 2.0 non Turbo because the 2.0 has no Turbo you would need to change gear more often to keep up with the 1.5. The 1.5 is also more economical and is a cleaner engine it creates less pollution and its a lighter car because the engine is lighter than the older 2.0.
