Any little human who got their hands on that go-machine has never lost the feeling from ride one till the day they depart. That period Suzuki was fine build. Rode a 76 RM100 for a about 3 mos and then a 79 for awhile. Great suspension for the day and solid power.

Great little bike! I have one just like it. Mine is missing all of the side panels and the muffler too. Haven't tinkered with it in a few years. I made a bunch of videos of it back in the early days of my channel starting in 2008. I may have to pull it back out next summer and getting running right. Looks like you got it running well. Nice job.

Just started tearing into my 1979 with my son. My father in law purchased it for my wife 30 years ago. Last I had it running was about 4 years ago but now the compression is only 30psi so we’ve started ripping it apart. Stock bore (1.652”/42mm) but scored up slightly, I can’t for the life of me find the correct oversize piston kit, I can find a stock size for a 1984, which is 43mm, but I’ve no clue if the wrist pin to dome is the same, guess I’ll have to buy it and just stack base gaskets until I like the squish thickness… unless you or any other viewers can point me to where I might find the correct one. Thanks for the great video!

That's a little ripper, 6 speed as well. I'm currently restoring a 1980 RM80T myself. And wow yours has an airbox. A good carb cleaning tip I save my old guitar strings to snake them passages further

If those are correct plastics, that's a 1979.
