Chevy. I bought one deleted the AFM and also put in a lower temp transmission thermostat. They all have problems I searched the issues with it before I bought it then hopefully this'll help. Ford's cab off factory option was too much for me! Lol

Owner all brands of trucks, except Nissan. You can’t go wrong with any of them now days… there is always a chance of a lemon but it’s pretty rare. I prefer the exterior of the Chevy.. I prefer the interior of the Ford. I prefer the solid axle on the Ford but prefer the diesel on the Chevy. Here is where Ford leads with luxury… load up a GMC or Chevy and it will still be missing the following. (1) panoramic sunroof (2) interior accent lighting in the doors, cup holders, floors, glove boxes etc (3) power telescope steering (5) power adjustable pedals (6) 2000w. Power supply. (7) aluminum body that won’t rust. (8) power messaging seats (9) lay flat seats (10) fold out work surface. That a lot of extras. Here are a couple of things the GM and Chevy have that ford is missing. (1) independent front suspension (although I still think the Ford handles just as well) (2) multipro tailgate (3) auto 4x4 selection. Now…. Load up a Chevy 3500 High country and you can find them for $89,900 with every single option. Load up a Ford Platinum and you’re at $99,000. Now to be fair to configure a Ford down to the High Country… you should build a lariat. The negative on the lariat is the stupid grey headliner. You can build a king ranch very close to the High Country specs and in both cases you’ll be right at the same price as the Chevy and you’ll still get the following in the Ford that simply outclasses the Chevy. (1) panoramic roof, (2) power steering adjustments vs manual (3) aluminum body (4) power pedals (5) accent interior lighting. Over all I believe GM could beat Ford at its own game if it would up the luxury items. I can live with the steel body but it takes a hell of a lot of work to keep it from rusting over a life time of use in the North where I live. But I believe GM’s designers are better. Their trucks look amazing while Ford keeps doing things, mainly to the front end that look kind of boring. I do wish GM would stop squaring off the wheel wells. I much prefer the rounded like ford and RAM. Regardless, if you have any of these trucks… wow! Enjoy.

I think Chevy gives you the most for the money. You get the highest trim for much less than you would pay at ford or ram for their flagship model. The aluminum body on the ford is really nice, I live in Michigan and this is huge for rust prevention. The independent front suspension gives Chevy a great ride quality. Ford is winning with towing capabilities. But as far as many of them other options that Ford has on Chevy, personally it’s just not worth the extra expense.

They did round out a lot of the body lines in the new SD. I don’t think they look bad, just takes seeing it a few times to get used to. I feel that way almost every time a new body style is released.
