Which is better a talent agent or a manager for your acting career? What is the difference between an acting agent and a manager? For your case I’d suggest using physical emotions (if you can) too create Fluent flow between each line

i live in a small town in ontario i used to live in toronto where there is plenty of agents and mangers but then i moved more north and i was extremely confused just like you what i did is i just got an agent that was in toronto if you have a big city near you (they usually say within 3 or less hours drive away especially for interviews or auditions) you can usually go in to a meeting and talk to them about distances and stuff like that

Hi, I’m not an actor but from what I’ve learned from the internet usually you start without an agent/manager unless you know people in the industry that can help you. If not there are sometimes meeting with casting directors or agents through acting classes, or if you can find an acting job you can ask people there if they could recommend someone. It’s not easy in general if you don’t have connections in this business, but everything comes with time and experience

Nope. The actor is the one that gets paid. If someone ever asks you to pay them for you to be in their show/movie, it's a scam. Run as fast as you can lol. But no seriously, if they tell you to pay them it's not legit.

Be very careful, I advise you find an agent near you and when you sort it out you can get auditions from Disney, Netflix, ABC, Hulu, etc. Also take acting classes near you! I suggest Backstage (money) or Casting Taylor (US) but most of the shows are commercials, student films, short films, etc. Good luck :)

1. If you have little or no experience find a theater/drama school 2. Find a agent/manager or they will recommended one to you, 3 Keep gaining more experience, You probably won't get with Disney or Netflix or Nickelodeon but being in an ad is a good start! Good luck :)
