I disagree.. I believe if your in no contact you should not respond until your ex says something of significance… if not they are just contacting you to test the waters and relive their anxiety levels. But if you stay in no contact until there interest level is high enough to send you a message text or voicemail clearly stated they made a mistake or they taking humble and want to conversation with you then your okay to contact them. Other than that they will come back ready to solidified the relationship but only to check in see if they have access to you.

ignoring them could trigger their avoidant side because they feel rejected. it will only really help if they are anxious and you probably are from your reasoning. you need to be unavailable but safe. unavailable because your not reaching out, that unavailability will increase attraction. the safeness will stop their triggers.

@@bernieoconnell5515 everyone’s entitled to follow, whichever coach the resonate with.I have not only have been watching Lucia but I’ve been coaching with her and she changed my perspective on many things for me regarding my self value. I would also mention i have coached with other coaches before her as well, and use their other techniques have not gave me good results. For instance, answering the phone without them,telling you why they’re calling, and not leaving a message for me, personally has not resulted in getting them back. When they do reach out and don’t leave a message or state why they want to talk to you. It’s usually means they do want to test the waters but not fully come back in strong to have a conversation with you to get you back. I have learned with my experience and studying psychology when someone really want some thing in life regardless whether it’s a relationship or in sales if that desire and interest is high enough they’re willing to do whatever it takes to get that prize and yes, that includes many rejections along the way. If they’re not,wiling to fight for the relationship that means that they were not for you, and makes it easier to move on. And you can walk away knowing your worth and value. Least for me this has been the case. Cheers!

I was going through this. I was no contact with my ex for a week and a half until she texted me late one Saturday night. Then it was actually HER idea to do a meet up and I agreed. The day we were supposed to meet up she claimed she had a headache and flaked on me. Now I'm seeing her in fancy restaurants on social media and no indication who she is going out with. Never again. I never will reach out to her and barely respond if she does and won't watch her stories and if she wants to meet up I won't even fall for that again.

I didn't go no contact to make them miss me. I went no contact because he was a mentally abusive narcissist. People need to be really careful and make sure they are not just going on emotion. You can miss a person even if the relationship was horrible and they were an evil person. If they were a bad person, don't ever let them back in your life.

I had to brake it off with my ex because I was very unhealthy, unhappy with myself and depressed. The pandemic was not healthy for me and I was Addicted to alcohol, unmotivated and increasingly becoming toxic. I love her to much to continue to hurt her. I know things ended in a drunken rage but I promised myself and her that I would be a better man. You just have to let go and let God lead you. If God has it in his will to bring you all back together he will. I’ve not moved on from our relationship because I need to be single right now. It hurts because I love her so much but I can’t be healthy with her if I can’t be healthy on my own. I’ve got a lot of healing to do. If she moves on I pray that God puts a man in her life that treats her way better than I ever did. I love her way to much to want otherwise.

I really love watching these videos but the more I watch them the more I believe I will never talk to my ex again in life. I was the one who broke if off but only because he has been so neglectful and distant the past couple of months and refused to do anything about it. He had already emotionally checked out and didn't want to be the "bad guy" by ending things so I ended it for him. This is a fresh breakup(less than a week) after 8 months. Good video, but I disagree with the point about men having to set the date. If your woman was the one to break it off with you and she's only reaching out to you with insignificant messages, sure she may miss you but you'll be setting a terrible tone for when/if in the future she decides to leave you again. It places all the responsibility on you. If your woman broke up with you, and she really wants to get back together with you, she should have to do the work to get you back. Simply reaching out with a "Hey how are you?" or something to that effect isn't enough. Know your value!

Most women aren’t going to ask you out. They may test the waters but usually won’t come out and say I miss you. Setting a date could be as simple as inviting them over. It’s low effort but you are moving things in the direction you want it to go. And most importantly if she doesn’t accept you can end the conversation quickly instead of pointless conversations about nothing

I've just had the experience that by setting the date instead of the Dumper doing it sets the foundation of how they will behave in the future. I had a woman who I did this with a few times in our LTR and she got it in her head that anytime she was upset that she just had to breakup and then throw out some insignificant messages with the expectation that I would do the dirty wor for her. I guess I look at it from, if you did the Dumping then you gotta do the work, if you want to fix it. I know my value and my value says that if the person who dumped me truly values me, then then do what it takes to make things right. Not some half-cocked way of getting out of doing the work. I know everyone's situation is different, but that has been my experience.

We are not on the NC and he ghosts me. He hurts me very badly. I decided tonight to let go. It is so so painful. I'm hurting he's hurting me everyday. So, I figure if I'm going to hurt every day then I need to hurt without talking to him not hurt when I'm talking to him. For 2 years he has always ghost me for a few days here and there. He ghost me for a week before but now tomorrow will be 14 days since he has been hot and cold with me mostly cold. I'll talk to him today maybe not the next 2 days and then I'll talk to him for 2 days straight meaning he called me yesterday and today but he may not call tomorrow and may call again the following day. A woman answered his phone on this past Monday so I know why he has been hurting men for 13 days. He is practically homeless so he talks to older women for shelter at their home because I have a young daughter and we stay in somewhat government housing and with my mom who doesn't like him so he is talking to an older woman using her for a place to stay. I have been in dire pain since March 29, 2024. If he does call and I talk to him I be in pain he will hurt me by the end of the day he has being doing that for 2 weeks. So, since I will hurt tomorrow I will hurt not talking to him.

I would say it depends on your goal with no contact. If it’s to get back with your ex I would answer. If we split up, you had planned 6 months no contact but after 3, which is a quarter of a year still, I messaged you then not hearing from you would make me think you’re not interested and depending on circumstances I might think you’re rude. It would affirm my decision to move on and you’d have to work even harder 3 months later when you’re trying to connect with me and my last memory is being ignored. But if your goal is more to take care of yourself and what will be will be, then yes ignore! Especially if you were dumped.

I'm sorry, I just don't buy into the "As a guy you need to assume she wants to see you and initiate a date", that's just validating her ego, you shouldn't initiate no date or anything until she at least say she misses you and sorry and wants to make it work cause she broke it off and it's her place to fix things, not yours, after she says she wants to make things right THEN you can say you are open to the idea BUT wanna take it slow and only then tou can suggest a date, and it's also crucial that you don't respond to these messages quickly or be too enthusiastic like you have been waiting for them all this time. Usually the first time they reach out to you the convo will just die and it's OK, you letting them know that you won't fix their mess and the only way they would get you back is if they lower their ego and admit they messed up and want you again, like it should be.

If you are open to getting back together, assuming that's what you want, you initiate a date. Provided she contacted you first. Now the date can be as simple as inviting her over to your place for dinner. It doesn't mean you have to go out and spend a bunch of money. Why do we do this? To prevent unnecessary back-and-forth text conversations that go nowhere. A lot of exes just want the ego boost of knowing they can have you. They will waste your time through text, for hours, and then ghost. You prevent all of that by getting straight to the point. Also as the man, most importantly, it's your job to lead and drive things to where you want them to go. Waiting for her to drive things isn't masculine

@@blacademic If she just texts you casually and asks about your day and then you go all out and ask to meet her then you pretty much gave her all the validation and power she needs - she knows you still want her even though she didn't said she wants to see you, wanna make things work, regret the breakup or even sorry, she now knows you are still on the hook and was still waiting for her all that time and she can just text you 'Hi' and you'll try to set a date right away. Unless she says SHE wanna make things right, or meet you, or regrets the breakup, you NEVER initiate nothing. I do agree that you should be the one to set the date as a man and that it is masculine, but, this is reserved for women who hasn't dumped you, women who dumped you can't just say "Hi whats up" and expect you to fix everything, it's her place to first say sorry and show she realizes the breakup was a mistake or that she wants you back, and then you can consider it and set a date accordingly and take it slow.

My ex and i broke up 3 days ago, i caught him chrating tight in front of me, se had a huge huge fight, the morning after i told him to pack his things and move out from out apartment, he moved out, both of us cried a lot, yrlled it was rrally bad and sad moving out. I decided to go no contact despite the fact i am in depression, and A day AFTER he texted me like nothing happened-"i am sorry but can you tell me how you cooked your roasted chicken" ant thats it. I ignore him for 24 h now, idk how to respond to that and should i? I am really hurt and i dont know why he texts me that, he knows how i cook it actually he helped me cook it before... Is it okay to text me something like that a day after this happened

As of now I don’t know whether he has changed or not but yeah if he comes back on his own & makes all the efforts and proves that he has changed. I am not asking universe for only him. This helps! I was so confused whether I should ignore him or respond. The video came at the right time. But I think I messed up, he said he missed me, I said I missed him too and I told him about the guy who proposed me during no contact, and he asked me if I like him, I said yeah I like him as he put a lot of efforts for me like taking me for a movie, shopping, dropping me back home (which my ex never did, he took me for granted that lead to break up, he broke up because we were fighting over it) so I couldn't say no to him but I'm taking my time to get to know him better so I haven't said yes to him either, then he asked me if I need any help in studies, I said I'll let him know. And that's it, he said good night. I think I shouldn't have said about the other guy. Have I ruined it? Since my ex hasn't asked me to meet up. What should be my course of action in this scenario?

I've asked him to meet me this Sunday if he's free, he said I'll let you know. I don't know if he will meet me or not. And if we meet will it lead to reconciliation

If you are open to getting back together, assuming that's what you want, you initiate a date. Provided she contacted you first. Now the date can be as simple as inviting her over to your place for dinner. It doesn't mean you have to go out and spend a bunch of money. Why do we do this? To prevent unnecessary back-and-forth text conversations that go nowhere. A lot of exes just want the ego boost of knowing they can have you. They will waste your time through text, for hours, and then ghost. You prevent all of that by getting straight to the point. Also as the man, most importantly, it's your job to lead and drive things to where you want them to go. Waiting for her to drive things isn't masculine
