You can't beat grenada for beauty and safety !! A bit expensive but you are paying for safety .

Very good video. Just one point on the food, yes we import a lot of food but we also farm a lot and have a variety of fruits, ground provisions (carbs) and vegetables in abundance. We don’t import those unless it’s something not grown here that foreigners like such as apples . Visit the local farmers market on Fridays and Saturdays.

True. I think it’s more expensive if you live in the city. If you live on the countryside of the island most people just grow their own food and it’s not uncommon for people to have community cookouts or share produce with people living around them.

The answer is YES... Real Estate is cheap there now that the hurricane has destroyed most of the island. Hey.. get a tent from North Face and a latte cup from Starbucks. It'll all work out.. RIGHT??

Hi Tab, what about housing? A pro or con for affordability? Can you say also what makes it an affordable place to live?

Sure I have more details about housing costs in my Grenada budgeting video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/boXFY41rjb12jNEsi=kLRFBFl_PN6gdTd9. I outline where I lived and how much it costs there and in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Hello TabTravels! We love your videos. If a white Christian family from the USA wants to move down there, is it possible to find jobs, build businesses, buy land, build farms? Are there any problems with Racism?
@TabTravels4 ай бұрын
Hello and thank you for the positive feedback! Church and religious organizations are at the heart of Grenadian culture I think this island could be a good fit for your family! I am not sure about buying land but I do know that it is possible as there are residents of Grenada that own holiday homes and return here seasonally. I suspect starting a business would be possible as well if you can go through the official channels to establish it with the government. I met restaurant owners that were from the states/UK and were able to operate within the island. As far as jobs, I suspect that would be more challenging because it is difficult for local Grenadians to find official employment, the hourly wage in Grenada is also a lot lower than what you would expect coming from the US. I would recommend finding a remote US job for income while in Grenada- some family members of SGU students were able to do this to support their students on island.
