Awe Cassie your momma is adorable. Hold those precious moments so close. My precious momma passed away from Covid August 28,2021. She was an animal activist and taught me compassion(to everyone of course however the voiceless aka animals, children and elderly) most important. Her last days I would give her a shower and that was our time together where we would laugh and have fun. While she didn’t remember much(Alzheimer’s) and sometimes didn’t make sense we def made the best of it. I truly miss those days taking care of my wonderful momma. A month prior to her passing, I lost my brother to Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 55. My Dad is my hero and I really don’t know how he is doing it. They were married for 60 years-I’m the youngest of 5 kids. Sorry to ramble, sometimes it just feels good to write all this out. Anyway, you are amazing and so kind. You are strong and positive! Love from my home to yours, Katie💕

no need to apologize Katie, you're always welcome to share here on my videos!! I'm just terribly sorry to hear about your two immediate family members, I can't even imagine the pain that that puts a person through (and I dread the day that I have to go through the same, since death is inevitable). Sending big hugs your way, and I'll be sure to give my mom an extra hug the next time I see her 💕

I'm so sorry about your mother and brother, that's so incredibly hard. 😢 My dad passed away from inhalation pneumonia after a years-long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, it was horrific, brain diseases suck. I'm glad you were able to spend some quality time with your mother though while she was ill. Those are moments to cherish forever. My dad was so constantly petrified from anxiety, panic, and delusions the last few years of his life that it was almost impossible, I felt horrible because visiting him was dreaded because it was just so bad. I wish I could remember more of the good times and forget the bad. I had a mental breakdown from the situation and then two years of fairly intense psychological treatment and I'm still not completely ok.

I've been watching you for many years, and I love the content all the time. But today made me weep a little because the relationship you have with your mom is so great. Make sure you really appreciate that. My mom raised me on her own and was great at it, and now she has a neurological disorder that is taking her away from me very quickly. I miss those shopping days with her, now it's like taking out a toddler to a toy store. Bless you, Cassie! You are doing good for many people out here!

@Janai I know what your going thru I used to have pretty long periods of sobriety or at least for me at that time only to fall on my face hard with devastating consequences. The worse being disappointing and hurting ppl I loved the most. I tried everything and I absolutely gave it all I had. But that was part of the problem I was good enough to fix myself because I was the problem. I had to surrender to God and let Him hold me up and get me through daily. By His grace I have been sober for over five years now❤️ Whatever you struggle with even if it’s not addiction as mine was He will help you if you allow Him to. My heart goes out to you and anyone else who suffers and is having trouble breaking any sort of chains 💚💚

fight that guilt! overpower it, defeat it! You are worth it 💗 Don't let that guilt get Anywhere near getting you! something that helped me, picking up new ways to think, just doing the right thing, taking small steps to complete goals, and ofcourse; you need a good support system. unconditional love and people that push you in a good way that doesn't hurt you. Research, google how to get rid of guilt and use whatever is left of the situations that had caused the guilt, let it empower you to do good for yourself etc and motivate ykno? Im just brainstorming because guilt can literally swallow a person whole and ive seen it happen to too many people including myself so i feel for you. I hope you can find a way just to make it through one moment to the next and keep your head up.

I have trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling, mine manifests as eyelash pulling) and around this time last year I started getting long gel nails and over the course of the following six months, I completely kicked the habit. I grew lovely long lashes and wash actually able to wear mascara and not have to wear copious amounts of eyeliner to hide my bald lids. I’m not sure what happened but then suddenly I relapsed, I don’t really know why. But I lost all my lashes and had to go back to the eyeliner. I so appreciate your candidness about your dermotillania because I relate so deeply to it. I know how much it sucks to relapse. It causes so much self loathing for me. Just want to tell you that you’re worth happiness and love whether you’ve picked your face or not ❤️

I don't know what the recipe said, but I'm going to guess that you melt the caramel and pour it into the apples and then let it harden in the fridge? Also, use actual caramel candies and melt them and not the dip. The dip is formulated to stay soft and "dippable."
@petty-davis2 жыл бұрын
Yep! Putting the pre-made dip into an apple isn't going to magically harden it, you[ve gotta melt down the caramels, maybe with a tiny bit of cream?

Diet changes will stop breakouts on your face which will help a lot of the issues you’re having. Dairy creates acne, you can’t continue causing acne through diet and then talk about wanting to talk to your past self. You can always change, and have been talking about this for literally years.

The wrong kind of caramel. Gotta buy the original ones that you melt on the stove. Then pour in the apple. Refrigerate. The slice.

I still struggle with picking my skin. my back was always super bad, because I can't see what I am doing and I don't know how bad it is and if it's bleeding or not. I am better now at my back, but still pick at my face sometimes. what helps me is a washing cream, that kills the bacteria and drys the skin and a gel. both are really good and my spots are healing really quickly if I am using the cream and not pick at the spots.

What would you say differentiates dermatillomainia from just being a "picker"? I am awful about picking at pimples and especially bad about picking at my HS flare ups, but I dont pick at non blemished skin.
@livelongandprospermary87963 жыл бұрын
I too wonder about this. I pick at the skin around my fingers, especially if there’s a small hang nail or hanging bit of skin. I also pick blemishes or perceived blemishes. On my shoulders and face. Even my chesticles.
@wendigo19193 жыл бұрын
Dermatillomania is a compulsive disorder and you cannot control it, one feels out of control. If you can control your picking, then it's not a disorder.
@Katmorrow903 жыл бұрын
Same. I pick everything that already is an “issue” like a scab, acne, scratch etc. Like I go looking for black heads if I happen to be looking in the mirror for whatever reason. I don’t pick non blemished skin but I am definitely a picker. My husband and daughter are the exact same way.
