Should I save one of these? Or collect parts for another CJ-2A?

I'm in my old back yard, and there's a lot of stuff here that "ran when parked". I've got an empty trailer, so something's going home with me. I've narrowed my choices down to a Jeep FC-150 with a PTO drive winch, a '73 Chevy stepside combined with a '73 Blazer to make a convertible rat rod, a totally original, one-owner, 2nd generation Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, and a '78 Pontiac Trans Am with T-tops and a shaker hood (but missing the T-tops and shaker part of the hood, among other parts).
My other option is collecting some vintage upgrades to finish up another one of my $500 flatties, including a F-head motor, an axle and brake upgrade, and some other goodies. What should I load up?

4cyl diesel + Dana 44's into the flat fender. The FC would be nice but I love the flat fenders more. In fact, throw the winch and pto from the FC on to the willys.

I put a mercedes diesel from a 190 D in a willys overland station wagon back in 1978 came out real nice. good show greetings from Panama' .

Either diesel swap into the FC for a new winch truck or diesel and axle swap into the flatfender both would be really cool. I too just came across your channel a few days ago and really enjoy the videos! Keep up the great work 👍🏻👍🏻.

Vista Cruiser looks like a flower car w/blooming tree , WOW /⁠ᐠ⁠｡⁠ꞈ⁠｡⁠ᐟ⁠\ Convertible step-side is great idea I'd follow. You could make a fiberglass removable hardtop too . The Trans-Am as roller will make you $$$ especially with matching drivetrain

Well, you could use the 4 cylinder Mercedes diesel in the Suzuki Sidekick frame and put a CJ body on it.......................

That would be a good option. Those diesels have a low hanging oil pan, right where the front axle is. The IFS would have the center section stay stationary, so the pan could be really close and it wouldn't hit on bumps.
