To me becky was the most credible to win, as much as people say they want to put the title on someone new, fans would be pissed if they put it on someone random... Becky winning fresh off Rhea relinquishing makes perfect sense. They just had Becky solidly Rhea as the dominant woman on Raw. She’s hurt, get the person who put her over to put someone else over until Rhea comes back.

I agree with Dante, Nakamura to NXT would be great. I get what John is saying that he’s older and is more successful than some of the recent main roster nxt people like Corbin, but I think that is actually a reason he would be even more valuable to the brand. Nxt is really pushing to be the third brand and having a big name guy like Nakamura could help move that along. Also, there have been a lot of rumours of NJPW guys coming to NXT and I think having them work with Nakamura would be so valuable. Guilia is already there and she would definitely benefit from Nakamuras experience. For Shinsuke too, he’s hit a roadblock on the main roster and needs a bit of a restart. Him doing these cinematic promos as a top heel on NXT would be awesome.

The other reason the titles shouldnt move is the naming scheme would end up confusing. Like if Raw had the WWE Champion, Women's World Champion, and WWE tag team champions while SD has the World Champion, WWE Women's Champion, and World Tag Team Champions, people would get the names of the titles confused

There was no reason for Liv to win because she is being built up as a dangerous heel after a long period of bad booking. Becky is going to be taking time off anyway, so now Becky got to pad an extra run onto her hall of fame career and have a quick feud with Liv where Liv "injures" her just like she did Rhea and take the belt. This sets Liv up as a massive heel off of taking out 2 of the most over women in the history of the business and automatically gives her feuds when either of them come back.... including Rhea coming back as a mega baby face.

Liv's first title reign made her seem like a fluke champion because of the cash-in, her fluke win at SummerSlam, and she instantly dropped the belt back to Ronda. If Liv won the battle royal, it'll seem like she can't get the job done in an actual match. I think Liv should lose against Becky at Backlash and finally snap and fully turn heel. Then she beats Becky for title in their rematch. It'll make Liv a bigger star because she got a win over an established star instead of winning it in a battle royal where she didn't need to pin anyone.

The optimistic side of me wants to believe that they gave Becky the belt here because they want to give it to Liv, but they want it to be more special than, "You got the belt because Rhea had to vacate it." The other side of me is afraid that they just don't give a fuck about Liv, and they only keep her around because she makes things unpredictable. Don't forget that they buried Liv's first title run at Summerslam 2022, which was Liv's first PLE as world champion and Paul's first PLE as head of creative.
