Excellent fitting and walked out confident knowing I got the the right sticks. In December 2019 I had my 2nd rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder and had my right rotator cuff surgery in 2014. Left shoulder has limited motion thank goodness it’s not my right shoulder because I wouldn’t be able to swing. Love the feel of these iron’s especially with graphite shafts.

I switched to the LA Golf L Series iron shafts and I couldn’t be happier. I love them! An added benefit is, they don’t bother my golf elbow nearly as much as steel shafts do
@DubyaKW2 жыл бұрын
What was the main reason that you decided to switch?
@justinrivet10852 жыл бұрын
@@DubyaKW Honestly, curiosity and because my golf elbow was really bad. I watched the TXG video that they did with that super fast guy ( blanking out right now but they mention him in this video) and was like, if the graphite is strong enough and in the right parameters for him and Bryson then they certainly have something for me. So I ordered 1 4 iron shaft from LA and built the club myself. Gained ball speed, club speed, 12 yards carry on average and the right spin window and launch conditions. Then I noticed when I was hitting that club my elbow didn’t hurt as much so I ordered 2 more shafts and did my 5&6 irons. Fell in love after a few range rounds and course rounds. Then ordered the rest of my clubs, even my wedges. I’m so happy that I gave them a try and now love them

@@justinrivet1085 I'm right there with you. Bought a used set with them to test out and have since ordered 3 other sets to replace all my iron shafts (I might have a problem). Love the feel and have noticed less pain in the elbow as well. Don't know that I'll have any other shaft for quite a while.

@@jessehughes3877 I have a problem too haha. Once I learned how to regrip, change out shafts, etc. it was over for me. I can’t see myself changing out of these either though. The stigma of graphite iron shafts will soon be turned around. Also, the graphics they can do on them is so much better. Way more bag appeal. Not that that matters with everyone but, it’s a nice added bonus. The only downside is, it makes for an expensive set of irons lol

I recently changed back from Project X 6.0 to steel (Modus 105R). During the fitting we tried the old shaft with my new head - far worse, and hard to hit. Balance and weighting. What I am noticing, though, is extra post game impact soreness in my fingers. That IS different, and I am now experimenting with losing the "Align" strip to soften impact a little, by going back to the straight MCC+4. On my hybrids - Ascent 50HY R feels AMAZING

Just got fit into LA Golf A-series 105 Stiff(4) in my Mizuno Pro 225 irons. I have never hit a 6 iron so good and consistently as I did with this shaft. Played Nippon Modus Tour 105 stiff which were previously fit for me after I tried a set of KBS TGI95 shafts for a few months. The LA Golf product feels better, smoother but stable, than either of my other shafts. KBS was nice for feel but my dispersion was all over the map, maybe 10gms of less weight, true flex, or balance point was not right for me? My 6 iron ball speed average was 121mph, carry around 188-190, spin rate around 4800-5000, descent angle 45-47 degrees on TrackMan. Dispersion was very tight and I could move the ball both ways with slight draw or fade, needless to say I am now $1000 poorer! Definitely recommend giving these a try.

I have fitted my Mizuno 225 with the stiffest autoflex iron shafts, gained more than 5 miles clubhead speed and improved my striking enormously.. I’m 57 and I swing my 7 iron about 80 miles an hour.. the biggest advantage is the feel of the shaft loading through the swing.. maybe an idea to a video to discuss this enhancement of feel with the softer autoflex shaf.

KBS are now doing there graphite shafts in swing speeds instead of A/R/S/XS, they now do 60/65/70/75/80/85/90 etc. I think this is a step forward as it stops the tipical egod man using stif+ shafts when they dont need them.

Great video and thank you for this cause I was in a way doing this shaft change idea here about 6 months ago with my fitting. My PXG's had the MMT's and though I did hit them well and after a fitting found that in my new P790's I was placed into True Temper S300 105VSS and found I had better strikes and distance . My 8 iron club head speed is 90 mph (at 54 years old) and these steel shafts felt heavier and easier to control for me where at the MMT's felt lighter though same shaft weight. Will also add that I agree with you Ian that the same shaft will not always work as intended, an I tried this for the last 2 years trying to self fit. I ended up with a driver shaft that is a different brand from my fairway woods and hybrids are a third shaft. As odd as it may sound and look, in the last 6 month is took me from a 25 handicap to a 18 handicap with better batt striking.

To me, the main advantage to graphite besides the QC aspect would be vibration dampening. I'd love to see something measured because from a numbers POV, there is no advantage I'd imagine for almost all players. But, if it made strikes feel better, that quality alone would make it worth it.
