The surgery was quick and painless - no need to feel anxious about it Linda ❤ Post surgery, I no longer need to wear glasses to drive but still need glasses to read (I have astigmatism which didn’t change). I had the cheapest surgery - one of my friends paid for the next expensive one and didn’t think it was worth the extra cost! I had the surgery and it was a breeze, it’s over quick, no pain and I could see the next day, it was life changing for me I could barely see since they were both smack dab in the middle of my pupils

Happy Birthday Linda! When I had my cataract surgery in 2022 on both eyes, I opted for the reverse...better distance vision. So I no longer need glasses for driving, watching television or at a movie, or when in the office, watching a PowerPoint presentation from the 5th row of the large meeting room in my employer's office. But I do wear reading glasses about 8 hours a day while working. So it's all what one prefers. Best of luck with your cataract surgery. I bet you notice the improvement in your vision within a few days after the surgery. Love Too Jay's food...enjoyed the review by Jim and Beth. Congratulations to your son on his upcoming retirement from the Marine Corps. Enjoy those grandchildren...it's great you can see them so often.

Wishing Linda successful cataract surgeries. 💗 I learned recently that if you have glaucoma; there is an option during this type of surgery to place permanent tubes(?) to allow for drainage and eliminate the need for expensive daily eyedrops. Thus, maintaining a safe pressure level. Hope this is helpful.💖

Hi Jerry and Linda. I had the multi focal lenses during my cataract surgery. The cost was $1800 per eye about 6 years ago. I highly recommend it. I see better now than ever. Good luck, Linda!

I had the surgery in November- a miracle. I have Vitreous debris (many floaters) so had to get the Medicare lens. I am now 20/20! Have worn glasses for 25 years and now don’t need even for reading.

Great show. I live in Louisiana and you hardly ever see solar panels. With high winds and flying debris in hurricanes they can damage them so I don't think they are a good thing to have on a roof in the south. We do not attach anything to our roof that could be ripped off during a storm. Also, our electric bill for our home runs about 150.00 a month. Belated Birthday Blessings! Good luck with your surgery. Sadly, I was one of those who did not end up with a successful outcome. One eye appeared improved for only about 3 weeks. Yes, cataracts are gone, but no improvement in vision. Also, ended up with dry eye issues that hadn't existed prior. Overall... the procedure was a breeze, so don't worry about the process. You Got This!

I will not do solar because of the roof being shingles. If I would have a metal roof (which some do in our neighborhood) I would look into it. I hired and fired two companies to do our yard. I take care of the weed and feed myself and my neighbors compliment me on how green and full our yard is since I do it myself, I do hire an outside to mow. I also do my own pest control but have a company do an annual termite inspection. Ybull in Del Mar

It will be nice to be able to leave a half dozen pairs of readers around instead of constantly being on the search for one pair of glasses because I've misplaced them! I finally decided to have a lawn service mow my lawn. I’m using the one that about six of my neighbors use. The biggest problem is that I get leaves on my front lawn from my oak tree in the front and leaves in the back from my neighbor’s tree. The lawn service doesn’t take care of leaves, so I have to “mow” after them because the bag on my lawn mower collects the leaves. If I just leave the leaves on the grass, they kill the lawn. This is in Clearwater, Florida.
