As a rockets fan, i think were just gonna be patient and pray on the suns downfall which looks likely considering the current structure of there team. They put themselves in position to if/when phoenix decides to blow it up then they can come calling houston/vice versa wanting to retain there draft picks back to properly rebuild. I think Houston is kicking the can down the road and potentially eying Devin Booker in the future and setting themselves up to have the best offer the suns could possibly ask for, a combination of young talent and there own draft picks back. The KD talk makes no sense to me, why would we want a guy in his mid 30s on a borderline play-in team? what purpose does that hold? why trade assets to attack a 2 year window which doesn't realistically come close to competing in the west.
