The Church is not a democratic entity ( voting on the direction of the church by those in the world) but a theocratic entity, God has already revealed his Devine will through his son.

🪸THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" "The Work in the Age of Law". ...(He worked in Israel, that is, formally worked, for a total of 2,000 years, and at the same time He worked in Israel and outside it for 500 years, together making 2,500 years. I'm confused. Fr. Cameli mentioned how the purpose of V2 was to reflect on what the consciousness of the Church was. Shouldn't that be done by Church canon experts...and not lay men & women? It makes me extremely nervous to think that what Mary-Lou or Joe-Bob thinks our Church should be even matters. I'm more interested in what our founders (Apostles & successors) & the expert Catholic Bible interpreters & apologists (St Thomas, etc.) conclude.

It amazes me that in all the conversations no one bothered to mention the most important individual in any of these meetings and voting considerations. They have all failed to acknowledge that most important person is the Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. The only Synod known to the Church is that of Pope and Bishops together ( Shepherds of the Church). The one invented by the present Pope has been constructed by adding a variety of lay people ,some not even Catholic, but helping to confuse the people of Christ's Church over the content of the teachings and tradition of the Faith as appearss to be the wish of the present Pope.

The concept of a synod on synodality is an inherent contradiction. Was it called synodally i.e., did a consensus of 300 bishops and laity petition the Holy See for such a synod to be called? No, the Pope called it. If that is synodal then they need to define the idiotic word. There is no tradition for it in 2000 years. This is politics pure and simple.

We need to remember history here. When VaticanII opened, the bishops assembled after having studied preliminary documents. Basically, it was thought that they would just vote yea or nay and then go home. However, almost immediately , the bishops voted to ask for Pope John to put those documents aside and then go in new directions. He agreed to it and that’s how the constitutional documents were formed and passed as the teaching of the Church. It was surprising and made all the difference! I suppose that the same will occur with this synod. God the Holy Spirit will guide it. God is the God of surprises! We can talk all we want before hand, as we did before the Council, but we may be completely off on how it will go. And, as after the Council, there will be those who will agree and disagree, as in any family. Were you aware that actual fist fights broke out among some bishops at Nicaea? Included in one of those battles was St. Nicholas! Santa Claus!

If there is a chair, there will be an agenda, in the simple literal sense of a timetable and a list of questions to discuss. Agendas can be changed by the meeting in question at a whim, which still leave an agenda to work through. Seemingly whether to vote on a proposed final document is one of those questions the synod will discuss. The endorsement of mortal sin in their Synod on Synodality is not the Way of Jesus Christ in His One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. The true freedom is freedom from sin, and not to live and under the slavery of mortal sin. The liberalism to commit mortal sin is not love and mercy but false love and false compassion. The salvation of poor souls from the slavery of mortal sin is the love and mercy of God.
