I expect late game Terran might make a couple less Ghosts and add a few Vikings or maybe even a BC or two, since they'll have most of the tools already built.

I can't wait to see Reynor start employing some of Rogue's techs. With an extra second of warning, Reynor has the speed to just completely nullify Clem's drops and walk over him in the early game. Serral has already been really flexing changelings for a bit now, but I could imagine him seeing this and starting to burrow lings for vision.

@@KingOfNebbishes Honestly, just build a couple of libs. They do air AoE so deal with overseer clouds pretty quickly and they also counter the lurkers underneath, with no targeting required (unlike ghost snipes).

The changeling was just clicked to follow one of the marines. Much like how you often see zerglings circling around a medivac.

Been loving the casting since you started doing the daily uploads, especially since they come in right after a day at work. I don't even play SC (more of a C&C guy) but I can't ignore the entertaining games throughout the year and hopefully more to come. Keep up the great work, Winter!

I actually only played SC1/Broodwar and found Winter recently and got hooked. I watched him for a few weeks before I gave it a shot and then my buddy bought me campaign to keep me interested lol. Having a blast and Winter is my commentator in the game now, love it.

Rogue has really spun this idea of the "ultra late game" It has been pretty set in stone the only way to win in the ultra late game is to put just enough pressure to make sure you mine one extra base. Rogue has decided he cannot win in that scenario and will throw every mineral he has at the terran until they eventually crack somewhere. Its really crazy to see. I want to see serral with his impeccable precision try this style. Its so nice to see rogue back

I'm sure there is a simple explanation, but I'm often confused watching Olivera/Clem lose buildings that can lift to Nydus/Lurkers... Can't spare a few dozen of those hundreds of APM to cancel queue/lift? They sometimes do it, but it seems a rare response.

With mixed late game army vipers can "snipe" any unit much more easily than ghosts, and zerg still has control of the map, better economy, building whole army from larvas in 1 minute. Terrans need to play like Clem to beat this, otherwise they losing.

I think a very small group of Vikings (1-4) can have a disproportionate effect by denying Zergs' use of Overlords as an early warning system. I notice that Zergs also keep Overlords behind their base to watch for harassing fliers. Pairing a Viking with the harasser after you chase the overlords off the map can deny that, too. If the Zerg hardens their defenses to make harassing filers ineffective, you can move your Vikings back to base to patrol for Overlord variants, and to drop on Nyduses. I also think that a Raven might be a good investment as a defensive unit (detecting and dropping turrets on burrowed units and Nyduses), but most can't seem to resist throwing them on the main army hotkey and using them as frontline units.

Watching Oliveira time and time again lose more units from a mediavac than necessary reminded just how insane Clem is controlling his units. Oliveira would leave a marauder here, 3 marines there and over the course of the game thats a full drop to distract or pair with your main force and could be the difference. Clem loses units min/maxing too but unless caught completely off guard It feels like he lost them before escaping, rather than leaving them behind. Maybe ive got some confirmation bias going on but after the 3rd time in game 1 he left more than necessary I thought "damn, I never see Clem leave units behind this often" and we all know his micro is 2nd to none so it made sense he'd excel at that too. No shade at oliveira but Clem gets to train v Serral on ladder, thats like goku in the time chamber level of training.
