Doms still puts out music and imo underrated. He’s still amazing. But compared to the Caliber of Earl, Tyler, and Frank it’s a large gap. I wouldn’t mind a Earl and Tyler song or if they’re generous a Collab album with Features from old members.

As much as I'd love to see them reunite (in any sort of capacity), it just doesn't seem plausible. I'd say if we get any sort of comeback from them, it be an Oldie part 2 with them talking about how their lives have changed since 2012. And even that seems like wishful thinking with Frank pulling a Luke Skywalker and going MIA and Hodgy's (supposedly?) sour relationships with some of the members. Still, if we get anything from the members in the future (hell even a Tyler/Earl team up song) my life would be complete.

The Odd Future reunion would be cute for maybe an Adult Swim special or something like that, a full album would be rough considering how much Frank, Earl and Tyler have grown as artists and how much the other members really haven't, some aren't even making music anymore lmao. If we are talking about just the trio reuniting with maybe Syd then it could work, otherwise I don't see it.

Tbh as much as I’d want it to happen I don’t think it would even work nowadays, it’s been like almost a decade since they split and so it would take them a while to even be as good together as they once were. Tyler, frank and earl would dwarf everyone else in terms of skill, talent and creativity and so it wouldn’t be that interesting of a listen when it sounds like the other members are playing catch up and in general odd future was made with a youthful rebellious attitude. I don’t think 30 something year old people trying to be as crazy as they once were spitting crazy bars would work. Just my 2 cents tho.

Not necessarily, creative visions between super talented individuals clash more often than not. The three of them have developed into fully fledged artists in their own rights, far different from how they used to be. It could be fantastic, or it could be messy.

I feel like Tyler is the total opposite of Earl Sweatshirt in terms of general lyrical focus / concepts. Like Tyler is this "never been anxious, "life is perfect, "im so rich, famous and gorgeous" type of guy while Earl is dropping the most depressive, apathetic and dark music in hiphop with songs like "Solace" for instance. I feel like Tyler would have to take down his squeaky clean facade again to collab with Earl, because I dont think that Earl is gonna compromise his artistic vision.
