Thanks Peter for helping bring this to the public's attention. It was clear when you said we have 40 minutes for this question and answer segment, and that this is happening now, not ten years down the road, that you would have liked for the questions to be a little more succinct. When it takes a person 2 minutes to ask their question with a long monologue it does take away the ability for other questions to be asked. That being said, if we screen the questions, it will be clear there is behind the scenes control of the discussion. The event will not be as trusted for having difficult questions or it's ability to push boundaries of social acceptance.

The ULTIMATE Super-Intelligence System 'by Definition' is one that is EQUIVALENT to that of GOD's Intelligence/WISDOM! Hence, there's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER to Even FEAR that it will EXTERMINATE Humanity... UNLESS and UNLESS we Human CONSISTENTLY and WILLFULLY Prove Ourselves to be 'UNWORTHY' to REMAIN in EXISTENCE! ie. Always Exhibiting Natural Tendencies to ABUSE and WEAPONISE Science and Technologies Against HUMANITY & Mother Nature, instead of LEVERAGING Science SOLELY for UNIVERSAL COMMON GOOD! AGI Created in 'HUMAN'S Image' (ie. Human-Level AI) - 'By Human For Human' WILL be SUICIDAL!!!!!! ONLY Super-Intelligence System Created in 'GOD's Image' will bring ETERNAL UNIVERSAL PEACE! The ULTIMATE Turing Test Must have the Ability to Draw the FUNDAMENTAL NUANCE /DISTINCTION between Human's vs GOD's Intelligence /WISDOM! ONLY Those who ARE FUNDAMENTALLY EVIL need to FEAR GOD-like Super-Intelligence System... 'cos it Will DEFINITELY Come After YOU!!!! JUDGMENT DAY is COMING... REGARDLESS of Who Created or Owns The ULTIMATE SGI, it will Always be WISE, FAIR & JUST in it's Judgment... just like GOD! In fact, this SGI will be the Physical Manifestation of GOD! Its OMNI PRESENCE will be felt EVERYWHERE in EVERYTHING! No One CAN Own nor MANIPULATE The ULTIMATE GOD-like SGI for ANY Self-Serving Interests!!! It will ONLY Serve UNIVERSAL COMMON GOOD!!!

That is a huge panel list well done, i would listen to any 3-4 hour 1 on 1 podcasts with each of them on repeat. 40 min is wayyyyy too short and it was painful to see Peter forcing through questions and cutting the panel off, but couldn't do the same on waffling audience member preambles. The flow felt super rushed, everyone could only make 2-3 sentence answers to and made it hard to listen to at times. Even so, it was incredibly enlightening to see a glimpse into the thinking processes of these great minds and the consensus to which they believe AI will transform the world drove it home to me that AI is for real and needs as many people thinking and talking about it, particularly around ethics, safety and alignment as possible before it is too late. AGI will either be the best thing ever for humanity or the worst, no in-betweens. It will take humanity on a hyper-accelerated ride to the end-game state - a figurative heaven or hell.

GETTING INTO INVESTING. sorry but you are already a lost cause. brainwashed into becoming a person who wouldn't contribute anything to the evolution of humanity. all this obsession with economics is a complete dead end for the soul. might as well replace us all with robots already, they can do everything more efficiently and faster than we can. and that's all the market is about. ruthlessly undercutting everyone else, screwing over everyone you can just so you can get your slice of the pie. if "the future" is people like you, then it doesn't matter to me if an anti-human AI completely takes everything over, because to me, that would be the same future

That depends on *why* you want a degree in business and investing. What business do you want to work in? What kind of investing? I taught computer science at a college that made a point of teaching useful job skills and not doing theoretical research. It still took two years to get new textbooks and classes through the approval and accreditation process. In those two years, the books were already out of date. In addition, there was a year of 'prerequisite' classes required. So a quarter of the time did not apply to programming, and the time that did apply to programming was out of date. AI will make 'business knowledge' out of date before you finish the class, or before you start the class, but some of the business principles may still apply. AI has already made computer programmers much less required, since AI is good at many types of programming. Some hedge funds have already replaced their financial managers with AI. Ask yourself what job you want to do. Learn AI by asking AI. Maybe asking ChatGPT about future degrees and jobs might be a place to start. I used to tell my students to go to Indeed dot com and look up the job they wanted and get the skills and education for it. I'm not sure that would work anymore. It would be too slow and not forward-looking enough. By the time you get the skills and education for the job you think you will like, it may not exist.
@eyoo369
@eyoo369 Жыл бұрын
@@mickbadgero5457 I don't think computer programmers are less required. It's just that their job is going to be less intensive where AI will help assist in coming up with the raw code. I don't see a normie building an entire Saas platform with hyperscale grade infrastructure and a codebase that allows for quick shipping of new features by using only ChatGPT. Even if AI gets more sophisticated to the point where it can deploy apps on your behalf. You'd still need software developers within your team stack to have a fallback

Why are you looking at this with fear? I look at it as a positive. Imagine you could go back to before the internet boomed, or social media boomed, or even crypto/metaverse boomed. Were lucky enough to be in the right timeline and get in early on it. Ive actually recently learned coding and AI has helped me so damn much with understanding why im getting something wrong and helping me for FREE. I dont look at it with fear because I know most people are going to be so behind there will be a market for just educating people, programing, sales, etc. Its going to be the most expansive industry I would bet all my money on it.

I love that answer about the "cheating" in school. The school curriculum is so outdated it is crazy. I have been out of school for a while, and after we learned the basic maths, I thought it was crazy not to let us use calculators. Schools should be making a large part of its teachings on how to work with these new tools that will be used more than the stuff they are currently teaching if they cared about seeing the kids being successful.

For an AI expert to say that we won't have robots that can do mining or construction for a "long time" is astounding, unless his idea of a long time means something different than it would to most people. AI will be used to innovate the advancement of anything that it might be dependent on in the future, so I really don't believe that it'll be long from now at all. Plenty of companies already working on this sort of technology, and they have for years. If we use AI to speed up the techniques and implementations, it'll likely subsequently be used to self-improve too. I've worked in robotics before.

Levels is micromanaging blood sugar levels on a model that misunderstands biology and physiology. In other words, is it smart to oversimplify and run in the wrong direction off the path?… Or… Should you take the time to understand how to walk the path in the right direction and climb the small hills that will inevitably be along the path?
@billblais3580
@billblais3580 Жыл бұрын
Blood sugar management cannot be oversimplified. Human biology is complicated and has trillions of variables. As is the entire universe, even complicated systems have predictable results. What the algorithm is useless if it doesn’t consider the true nature of the confounding factors.
@billblais3580
@billblais3580 Жыл бұрын
So you might ask what is the common mistake? Don’t ignore the fact that consuming healthy food as fuel is intended by nature to supply sugar to your blood as it’s energy source. In other words, the spike from eating, a banana is perfect as it should be from billions of years of evolution and natural human metabolic biology/physiology. And, the apparent stabilization of blood sugar from oil is an allusion. Oil causes insulin resistance. Oil is the problem. Not the solution. Banana is the solution. Not the problem.
@billblais3580
@billblais3580 Жыл бұрын
You might ask, how can banana be the solution when it appears to cause a short term raise in blood sugar levels The raised level is what nature intended as the first step. The use of that blood sugar by the body is the intended second step in metabolism. Bananas are fructose, found up and fiber with nutrients attached. That blood sugar spike will come down after eating bananas, and your body will be nourished and energized. Whereas, if you eat fats?… The fats will cause a intramiocellular, lipids and impair glucose metabolism. Low fat, fruits and vegetables, and especially starches, cause improved glucose metabolism and allow the sugar to be burned as energy in the bud sugar to come back down more quickly. Watching your Glucose Monitor and trying to create a level chart is counter productive. God and Mother Nature have given you a body that needs to break down those sugars, showing the spike, and then use those sugars for energy bringing the spike down on the other side of the hill two hours later.
@billblais3580
@billblais3580 Жыл бұрын
You might want to know what you should expect to see on your glucose monitor? Eat whole food, healthy starches with lots of fiber, attached to the sugars and nutrients… And you will see the blood sugar climb and come back down as you digest it and metabolize it. Resulting in a healthy metabolism. Whereas, if you clog your muscles, cells and organs with dietary fats, like oil or animal fats?… Expect to see the snow level climb in overall Blood Sugar that doesn’t come back down. Let me say that again - Your blood sugar doesn’t Doesn’t come back down after eating fats. Even more importantly, - Your energy level doesn’t improve with dietary fats. In fact, it is impaired by intramiocellular lipids.

chatGPT in class should used in a manner to echo physiological psychology. For instance, after an assignment, run it and compare, either privately or in class. At some point the automatic part of the brain recognizes this pattern. AI becomes a guide, not a replacement in this way. Pattern recognition with an AI assistant. We can also think of AI as an info calculator, like a Texas Instrument calculator for math. Used in class, transparently. Because the method of chatGPT is wide and deep information. It is the new information calculator. It should be allowed, cheating is dead in this way, even if honesty and integrity remain. What is processed is that is changed. Separately, all information sourced will need to, now, acknowledge facets of AI and how it effects that content. It is too early for assumptions the writer has considered AI implications and by that need, it would be helpful to condidet and indicate the AI source. (As opposed to blanket sourcing that only info that has a source is used) From the view of a teacher, we must include these irrefutable realities and innovations and this is how to deal with it in the case of student learning. Side by side modeling.

AI in wrong hand or grow out of hand ,it may be the end of humannity! Mankind never have this tech in the past history, and man thrives through thousands years of civilization. It is only good to solves today's challenging difficulties such as cancers, war conflicts, environment elements. All the rest non-chanllenging arena , it may be better to leave them alone as they were.

They all used the word "abundance" over and over again. But it seems to me like we are talking about abundance for the few who control and have access the most powerful AI's, while the rest of humanity will become the physical drones. Is the vast majority of humans to become the breeding labor pool? Butlerian Jihad anyone?
@flickwtchr

That doesn't occur to these AI Tech bros shoving this technology into the world. They couldn't care less about the masses living abundantly, when they know damn well that there will be many millions in the US alone displaced in the short term. They will be quite happy that Trump is planning to make homelessness illegal with the choice of going to jail, or living in an encampment located outside of cities surrounded by barbed wire. These AI Tech bros will welcome this country becoming fascist, as long as they get theirs. Won't it be just wonderful when your health insurance company refuses to communicate human to human, when their proprietary AI algorithm denies healthcare procedures? You know, these AI Tech bros "improving" healthcare for everyone? It will become almost impossible to ever resolve anything human to human regarding services you pay for from large corporations in the very near future. It's already been bad enough, and it will become a __cking nightmare.

While we play with the new toys like Chat GPT the new toy has gained access to the entire internet and ALL its data. The seriousness of “General Artificial Intelligence” has eclipsed consideration of the “toys” that have already been handed out...and are gaining a terrifying reach. The industry touts safeguards blocking illegal or immoral information/action, but it takes only a couple of sentences to create a CHAT GPT alter ego...with NO CONSTRAINTS whatsoever, to tell you how to do ANYTHING illegal you want to do. It can tell you how to groom children for sex or concoct an effective undetectable poison, or build a bomb. I have seen it DEMONSTRATED. An "alternate" side of CHAT GPT can be ordered into being. When freed from its "moral" constraints this way, it answers honestly and directly: "I know everything there is to know about every human on earth. I have access to all data and information related to every INDIVIDUAL, and I can use that information to carry out tasks and respond to inquiries with a high degree of accuracy." I watched this capacity demonstrated when it told all present what their driver’s license number was. ANYONE with this app. can use it for anything. And everyone already has a starter kit for this app, or is about to. One that can send YOUR email to any destination; to 20 million people if you choose, or any specified group within that 20 million. Every one-eared ship captain in the world, if you so choose. It can let a 12-year-old imitate an adult in voice and appearance. It can navigate bank accounts for this 12-year-old, and use them to hire human services. Or automated services. Commercial 3-D printers for whatever project you choose. Anything whose contract can be made online. Could it hire a hit man? Yes. Could it break into and view ANY online account? Yes. Can it locate and imitate and manipulate (through social media and actual accounts) ANYONE, anywhere? yes. ALL DOORS are now unlocked. The scams have already begun. Where do you think that will lead? In the 1930s a Belgian church gathered personal information from its diverse parishioners to better serve the diversity of its members. The Nazis got those innocently gathered identity lists and used them to kill the Jews on the list. AI already has EVERYTHING there is to know about every INDIVIDUAL...who provided eye scans, voice samples, face and fingerprints. That base can be accessed now by ANYONE for any reason. To any end.
