Great teaching. So funny, the "this Zen is Bullshit" story. 1. The main difference between thinking and the rest of the 6 senses (seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, feeling, thinking) is that while they are all tools, we tend to regard the thinking tool as ourselves thus getting unhealthily attached to our thoughts. 2. Zen practice is wisdom based in that one learns the deep things in life without the "intellect". (This is perhaps even more clearly stated as accessing the portal to by Eckart Tolle.)
