Nothing worse than wind. Once missed a game as I was that windy I thought I might follow through.

A stand which is able to blow over (temporary or not) is absolutely disgraceful - what if it had happened during a game with fans in the stand?

I think the bigger issue with games being postponed is the fact you're not allowed to postpone them until the day, at least in our league. Not so much an issue as it's regionalised at 8th tier, but certainly some of the distances fans have to travel are long, only for it to be called off. If it's consistently showing the day before that the pitch isn't safe or playable, it should be called off then and there.

It's all about player and fan safety. If it's windy or rainy it's the same for both teams. That's why teams change end at half time. If it's dangerous to travel fair enough, but not if it's only blowing the ball about.

Premier league clubs should support their local clubs. So much money that they could easily help fix these grounds.

On the one hand the conditions are the same for both teams and they have to adapt to it. However on the other hand if the wind is so strong then the game becomes a farce,

YES, wind can interfere with play and things can fly off and kill spectators. one instance Torquay United many years ago a sign flew off the stand lucky no one was killed

The wind not only had an effect on football games but it seems it also had an effect on your hair :D, If the wind isn't a danger to the players, officials or spectators then the game should go ahead. The game is played by footballers not snowflakes, although we do seem to be heading more towards snowflakes.
