Is the Tom's area diverse? Black mother I'm from Miami, FL and I'm use to diversity here. I was considering looking to purchase a home in Toms but was skeptical If I would face backlash, stares or make my neighbors uncomfortable being black. Have to ask these days being that I have a toddler son. A lot of Northern states seem to have more whites than blacks and sometimes... this can cause problems with one race vs the next. Does anyone have experience or pros and cons of being black in this area? In Miami we have whites, blacks, Latins, islanders and everyone just gets along so well and I'm hoping to surround myself around that same energy within a community
