I bought my 2014 xfr 2.5 years ago with 55k on it for £28k, it's hands down the best car I've ever had. Why did I buy it? I've had subarus the last 10 years and needed to scratch the V8 itch. An f10 m5 was on the cards however it felt dull in comparison to the xfr. The xfr has so much character. M5 are great cars however what's cooler than daily driving a supercharged V8, it's the uk's own muscle car. Mine has been totally reliable with only regular maintenance needed. It runs out of approved warranty in 6 months so then I will be having it tuned to 600bhp with a remap & smaller pulley on the supercharger. I no longer daily it as I want to keep the miles down on it,it's currently sitting @ 64k. Absolutely 💯 you should experience an xfr. Fantastic cars 💪 💪 💪

Really enjoying your XFR content. I'm in the market to buy one. Did you sort the sagging/rippling dashboard issue out yet ? Keen to see a video on that please.

Not yet, I'm having a little breather on spending at the moment! I think it'll take a lot of time and patience to take the dash out, and might be a winter job.

Always love hearing about other XFRs ! My partner bought a 2012 XFR Supercharger (aka “the Diva”) to use for Track Days here in the U.S. Most folks don’t expect to see a full-size, 4-door Jaguar sedan on track, but there is nothing like hearing her “purr” when she gets to around 200 kph. 🐾 ☺️ 🏁 She’s part of the family, and we love her dearly. ❤☺️

Fantastic video I purchased a jaguar XFR on a 2015 plate last June I absolutely love it I have had one thing go wrong and that was the battery , I have fitted full leather seats as it came half and half and that’s it, I am currently learning how to use sdd JLR software so I can do some modifications myself but what a car it’s a pleasure to drive I am currently getting 57 mpg it is a 2.2 enjoy your jag mate all the best

An XFR is a 5.0 supercharged V8. I think you bought a R Sport. Not the same.

Really enjoying your XFR content, Sir- proud owner of a recently purchased 2015 XFR checking in. It was erring towards the higher price bracket of the XFR but it was from a main JLR dealer and only has 35,000mls 👍🏼

@uneducatedromantic4049 best way to buy, I paid over the odds for mine but it has paid off as its clearly been looked after. Do you run it on super unleaded? I do with mine.
@uneducatedromantic4049Ай бұрын
@@bigmatt2896 Hi, yes I do, I run all of my cars on E5; I’m sure I receive more miles per gallon in return for the relatively low extra cost of a tank. I’ve long thought E5 is actually cheaper in the long run, although I have no actual evidence to back that claim.

Great video. For me personally i like the idea of one and would have the cash to fix niggles like electronic bits or wheel bearings, tyres, brakes etc. But would not have the cash to buy a new supercharger unit or engine if it went, or anything major 'big bills' wise. That's what currently puts me off! Lovely car.

From what I read, the big stuff doesn't go wrong very often at all. There is a risk they will but at a low entry price, you can bang it on eBay and get most back. With depreciation on a new car, you're guaranteed to lose money!

Get a 4.2 SC. Bullet proof. More on fuel though apparently. More than enough power for RWD.
@RiperSnifle3 ай бұрын
@@turnerscarsUK I agree, and it does seem that not a whole lot of major issues happen but there's always a risk. And never interested in a new car, just want something to tick a lot of boxes for 10k or under and these certainly tick a lot of them off!

@@AndyK.1 and I have considered that, but I'm the type of person to buy one and always wish I went for the 5.0 supercharged one!

Well saId. I purchased my XFR a month ago and I absolutely love the car. Id like to see the induction kit install if possible. it sounds great on your car!

I use ram air pro-ram induction kit on my xfr, really let's out that whine from the supercharger

I'll do a separate video on that, it'll be short because it's easy!

@@turnerscarsUK looking forward to it. Can’t wait to do the same to mine!

@@JoseMosqueda-rp5gc did you get it done? I love the ram air intakes on mine

@@bigmatt2896 yes sir. I did it a couple weeks ago, Absolutely love the supercharger noise now. Im also debating on whether I should do the upgraded pulleys and tune or not. i've really been enjoying it as a daily driver

Yeah I had a 140i which is brisker?
@turnerscarsUK3 ай бұрын
The 140i is easy to chuck the back out and easier to control. The XFR feels like an occasion, once it's rolling it's brutal. They're different types of performance even though on paper they're very similar.
