Should you buy an MT07??

I freaking love this bike, I got a 2023 one. Despite of being my first bike, I couldn’t resist on purchasing it. The leaning course still amazing me, it’s all about the rider. Every little progress still count. Ty for sharing ✌️

what's your thoughts on an xsr900 vs mt-09sp? at first was dead-set on an mt-07 but now i'm torn between something a tad bit bigger. i've watched all kinds of reviews on all 3, but extra advice never hurts.

Right on! I would honestly go for an MT07. They are such great bikes and you can't get the same sound out of the 09 or 900 (triple cylinders). I think those bikes are pretty insane to be honest, but I haven't ridden one yet. I would start with a xsr700 or an MT07, but sweet bikes depends on the styling you like of course. I like both platforms, but I have heard the MT09 lacks in suspension even more than the MT07, and its a bit of a weapon. That old saying about riding a slow bike fast is true, you get to use all of the power the MT07 has. But thats just me, do what you want at the end of the day man. The best bike is the best deal for you, and the one you like out of those, thats my thought process. Either way ride safe! and let me know what you get!!@@jeremiahstevers4749

I started on a 1980 KZ550, as you can see in one of my previous videos. I loved every minute of that bike. I think its better to not use any of those assisting techs. You will be a better rider for it in the end. Obviously right carefully and respect the bike for sure.@@jeremiahstevers4749

I got a honda shadow 1100vt for my first bike would the mt 07 be a good second bike I want something different and sporty but not too crazy

Nice!! I think the MT07 will blow your mind, in a good way. I’ve only ridden a few shadows but the torque and riding position on the MT is super fun. I definitely would get one. Are you going new? Or used?

@@Garrett-j7i totally, it’s a great bike. Get an exhaust for it and it sounds better then a v twin (at least I think). I like the older model headlights better than the new ones, but the body shape of the new ones better than the old haha.

@nickandmotorcycletime5246 yeah idk I like the new and the old style headlight for me it was between the mt 07 or the cb650r but the 07 is so much cheaper

@@Garrett-j7i yeah, the cb650r looks sweet and is 4 cylinder, which is awesome. But the sound the MT produces is epic, I love 4 cylinders but this bike sounds so mean. I’ll eventually acquire a 4 cylinder to add to the garage as well.

The link above is the exact exhaust I have. I just used a bit of high temp gasket to make sure it’s perfectly sealed at connections. Works perfect and is in perfect condition still!

i am 6 foot and am wondering do you think i am to tall for mt07 ?

Someone just asked me this today on another one of my videos! Not necessarily, but I am 5”11 and I find it is starting to make me feel like I have a weird body position on the bike. That is one of the reasons I will be selling it eventually. Depends on what you’ll be using it for too, I’ve seen tall guys ride these bikes. They are kinda smallish bikes though, you could get handlebar risers to accommodate, but you’ll never know till you ride one or try one out.

I'm 5'38. So I wouldn't get any problem to handle it? I mean not riding.. I got a 94' xj600 yamaha Inline 4. I want to get one next season.. But Affraid off how tall the bike is. On the data(in europe) is 2'62 ish... 😅

I know lots of beginners ride mt07’s. I just personally think it’s a better idea to start on a different bike, less risk of smashing a nice bike.

I have one and started riding in 1969 and racing in 1987. In all that time I’ve never driven a motorcycle I’ve always rode them.
