Risk of rain is one of my favorite games. With 500 hours into it I was so happy when I saw the dlc announcement. Risk of rain 2 is a game with a lot of replay ability. Each run can be different based off of which survivor you choose, which items you get, and which of the four ways too end the run (wether you obliterate or fight one of the 3 bosses.) As far as the dlc. YES. It’s such a fun game and when you add the new items, new stages, and new items this game just gains so much. Also sniper is a girl, and slime enemies is GUP (respect the gup)

9/10 seems a bit mystifying given all the bugs and balance issues.

because its so much fun, it makes up for it, and the patches are releasing quickly which is way better than most devs

@@rik6080 That's easy to say after the fact, but they could have just as easily taken weeks to get the patch out. As it was at release, the expansion was a 6/10 at best. As it is now, yes, I'd agree its a 9/10.

for $15 you get: - 2 new characters - a new gamemode - 41 new items (including the new void items. 27 without) - 5 new environments, with Void Seeds being added to non hidden realms environments. - 11 new monster types (+2 elite variants) - 2 new bosses - a new final boss and on top of that, many of the bugs (many, not all) have already been patched out. at launch the price was even marked down to a smidge less than $10. the price is more than reasonable.

i fail to see how the railgunner makes any sense when playing long game on monsoon, at that point it is all about mobility and DPS. scoping in to first person and reloading is just unviable at late game
