I’ve never been a bag girl. My husband bought me a Louis bag and I went behind his back, returned the purse, bought me two Betsy Johnson bags from Ross, got a mani and a pedi, bought a couple of pairs of shoes, some outfits, and dinner 🤣 and still had money left over 🤣🤣🤣

Once a bought my classic Louis V. Bag and paid $900. This was the day after a guy who I was in love with, broke up with me. I can’t explain it but I felt very empowered carrying the bag. 10 years later, still holds strong.

Another thing about bags is that I don't want to advertise that I have money. (I don't, this is a hypothetical situation.) Anybody could see me walk down the street with a gucci bag and snatch it.

I'll rather have a no name brand purse that is nice and good quality than to use a knockoff, that's more embarrassing.

I'm totally with Tiffany and Loni on this. Tiffany just started to get some fame and started making good money she can't be buying expensive things like that. That's where a lot of people go broke. They see what others are doing and try to do the same trying to show off when they don't have the same kind of money the person has. Get your money up first, save some money, don't live paycheck to paycheck. When you have good money that's when you can start buying expensive things to your liking not before

i absolutely agree with Adrienne, if a bag is nice but cheap, i will buy it, but i am still a broke uni student sooooo.. if I want a designer bag i will SAVE MORE than for that shopping splurge lol, I don't understand why people buy knock-offs though

My grandmother has ALWAYS taught me the value of money! She told me to make sure my bills are paid FIRST before I think about getting things for myself!

I like designer handbags, but I can’t afford them on a regular basis. If you can save up for one every year or two or however long it takes you I don’t see a problem🤷🏾‍♀️

I bought my first LV 2 years ago on the pre-love market with pre-loved accessories. I waited 28 years to get one (since HS!!!!) Pre-love is not what it used to be, these are in excellent condition!!!! It’s ok to spoil yourself when you’re able to once in a while. But I waited to afford a house, car, and get all my bills paid first!!! It’s ok to spoil yourself responsibly once in a while!
