I think it's funny because the first few seasons everyone was on Jeannie for being too extra, trying too hard, or being a clown. Meanwhile she's done the most as far as hardcore experiences, with the exception of Loni. Not saying Loni has done all kinds of criminal stuff, but she just seems more real because of being from Detroit, being slightly older and more experienced, and overcome a different set of struggles.

The comment section are so messy please educate yourselves about the relationship between stealing and living in lower income neighborhoods, and also stop the assumption that every poor person of color steals it's prejudice. I grew up the first half of my life in the 'hood' and I never once stole or even been arrested. However it was normal for my friends to steal and get arrested for petty crimes. That does not make them bad people, a lot of it is environmental and the choices and circumstances surrounding their lives. That being said, I am SO proud of Loni, Jeannie and Adrienne talking about their experience this could be shown to a young girl who's going through what they went through and shows them that they can make it out and live an even better life! She is from New York City. A lot of people don't have or need cars. Depending on where you live, it's easier to not a have car. I think she said that she didn't learn how to drive until she was grown. I know New Yorkers who have never driven a car. Jeannie is from California where you need a car to go anywhere.

@@god.calls.me.friend5635 Fun but scary at the same time. You can really burn up some tires. I guess you never drag raced either. Really just like in the movies. Except the guys would meet on a deserted highway real late at night and challenge the guys across the state line. The girls would cheer and egg them on. I rode once in a race. The speed scared me to death even though the guy was an expert driver. Gee the things you do when you are 16 and reckless. Didn't help that my hometown held car races on the Indy 500 circuit.

Cynical reason: They want to appeal to their audience and since their perceived audience is "minorities", they think they'll easily relate to getting arrested... But it may just be that the communities where they grew up were like that and they have to "be real" about it.
@aci123456787 жыл бұрын
V Love-Williams Loni, Jeannie, and Adrienne have been open about their upbringings, I don't think they would lie about this.

I agree that this would not be a good lie. If viewers found out, they'd lose all credibility. People are already annoyed with Loni for making stuff up . My cynical answer was more about how they related it to the audience/us. They kind of assumed the audience "knows what it's like" to get arrested and acted like Tamera was the unrelatable one.

I'm from New York, and people like to hop the train a lot instead of paying the $2.75 fare. So they get a ticket and decided they don't want to pay it, so they get a warrant out on them where they have to come in to court to solve the issues. So when that happens they start bragging about it like " I got court tomorrow", having all these people thinking they are bad, knowing damn well their crime wasn't anything major.

I love that this episode, this is relatable. Especially to see you all are human & made mistakes before too.

Loni is so funny when making fun of Tamera, "Let me commit a crime" (pretends to put gum under her chair) lol. Tamera seems like the kind of person that would feel bad if she stepped on a bug and crushed it! She is too sweet and innocent.

Ive heard the story before, she didn't put gum underneath the chair she put it ON THE CHAIR, SO WHEN THE TEACHER SAT DOWN IT STUCK TO HER.
