Your shit is still safe until you can get into it 3) most criminals work on a tight shedule. If it takes more than x amount of time its not worth it because the owner can come home or someone can see them and call the cops. Even if they got in like this it would still take more time to get into, which is discouraging at least.

The screws are snake eye security screws you can tighten but won’t unscrew and they are difficult to drill out too not impossible but they are difficult to drill out. Yes the physical aspect had been upgraded, but I still wouldn't trust tapplock, the previous one i owned just died on me after less than 1 month of daily usage. The fingerprint sensor just stopped working, if i didn't have a bolt cutter i would still be stuck in my own house.

The main reason for that would be to test what everyone can buy, not what manufacturer sends, as sponsored products sometimes are being pre-tested and better quality than what is actually sold.

I've seen a few people saying "but a burglar would just use bolt cutters". Well... Yeah no shit. This video is meant to be a follow-up acknowledging the fact that TapLock's previous lock was extremely easy to open even without bolt cutters. So if you used one of these at your local high school, your classmate could easily open your lock without sneaking a massive pair of cutters in his gym bag. These kinds of locks are meant to impervious to the human hand and whatever you may have around in convenience. Not impervious to items meant for the deconstruction of metal.

This opens up with a rare earth magnet and a few well-placed strokes from bottom towards the top. Changes the polarity of the electric motor, turns it and releases the locking mechanism. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Even locks again afterwards so no-one knows you've been in their stuff.
