Thank you for your very unbiased and honest video! Really appreciate it! I recently moved to Germany and had a pretty hard time settling in here. Coming here in November from a place that has a pleasant weather during that time, and from a life of moving around in cars, having the convenience of doing everything online, in addition to the pros and cons you mentioned, I would add three other Cons that people should consider - a rough winter for many months, the speed of the system in almost every bureaucratic process (you see that passport in india comes in 3 days without tatkal, it takes 3 weeks for getting an internet set up in Germany) and limited digitalization (India is far more advanced in this aspect).

And in ur Vlogs when u said "Dal chawal is best" and ur husband said "Apne watan jana h " it hit really hard. Please keep making genuine content.. And hope to meet u someday in Germany ❤️❤️❤️❤️

People just don't want to leave their comfort zones. In India, those who earn more than 100000/month are paying almost same amount(As in Germany) in taxes without getting any benefit from the government. If you add Health Insurance cost which is a part of your CTC, it would be even more than what you pay in taxes in Germany. If you are working in private sector you need to spend at least 12-14 hours a day to keep your job. After this exhaustion, I don't think there is any time left to spend with family. I would say money is not the only factor why someone will move to different country. It is the work-life-balance culture which insist people to move out of their favourable zones. As per my experience, I would like to work for lesser money for better life style.

The time you save here in germany goes in cleaning toilets , cooking food , and thinking about about your loved ones ...like she said if you need any kind of service it takes all kind of planning and hell lot of money! Work life balance is mostly a myth unless you really have a life or passion apart from your routine life! And not to forget the depressing winters which last for almost half of the year

To contradict, I am earning around 1.5L in India after tax as software engineer but still work for 7-8 hrs only and that too WFH and also I am bachelor so saving is max. But the only thing I would consider if in future to move to abroad is exploring the world and not for money. Now a days situation is changing in india as well and I can be a live example.

@Flying Abroad, i like your videos and am watching them like binge watching in netflix LOL. On the lighter side , you can also talk about German dinner time starting from 5 pm onwards and that there are no special shops to buy Alcohol like in india ( almost all food shops, Spätis have alcohol ). One major point which is very important is safety for women in Germany( they can come and go at any time of day and night, wear what they want without getting disturbed. I was worried about my daughter when in india when she had to return late. Here very late at night, she cycles back home. Also you can find here women and girls at all times of the day and night in public transport

I have faced very bad behaviour by Indian government machinery and things in my town have degraded severely in last 5 years. It was a paradise earlier with living standard much above rest of India. Now my motivation to move to DACH area has increased many fold. I am trying very hard to get a job in that area. I hope I succeed soon.

Basically it's depends on you company / project 🙄 And if you want to explore new place you can come on tourist visa 😀 If you get offer between 60k to 80k in Germany and if you are getting 25 to 35 LPA in India then I don't recommend to come. Enjoy with your love one's. Note: It's my view 🙌 You can grow very good in India and there is work life balance in India as well just you must you how to make it work. Life is very short ☺️

There is a big difference between public and private school in Germany. Quality of education in public school is not that great. I am saying based on my own experience - Medical treatment differ based on type of health insurance (i.e private or public) - Medical insurance is not covering medicine expenses. - Unemployment benefit (Arbeitslosengeld) you will get only for 1 year
