You're right!! KZbin has changed a lot and it's now far more competitive. Best it's to do your thing without getting too obsessed with the numbers and growth. If you hit it out of the park and manage to make a lot of money and a living off KZbin then great, if not, so be it. Just be smart with your investment, enjoy what you are doing regardless of the money and learn in the process. Wishing you all the best with your new decision and style. Stay safe.

The integrity piece is so important. I've come to understand that what happened to me in medicine is that I stood with integrity. I stood up to the cruelty of the system, the deliberate intention to hurt people to get what they wanted. That was the end of it for me. Integrity can cost you everything.

If you can do anything else *and be happy*...therein lies the rub. As someone who rejected the creative professional path as a young adult, I've had varying degrees of success and happiness but I've certainly had to do things I didn't particularly like or feel great about while working for the man. I'm looking forward to taking a crack at the creative professional side again, now. I appreciate your perspective. It's inspiring.

I hate doing KZbin lol. I got started and got 7k subscribers. Made $200-300 per month. During tax season they killed me with taxes and I pretty much paid for stuff to review so lost money. I will continue to do my channel but not get paid for it. Takes to much time and Pennie’s on the dollar!

That’s a sad message. If people want to be creators then do it. The truth is it may not be able to support you. You may have to have a full time job to pay the bills and do the creative stuff in the side. Sounds like you want to sit around making random KZbin videos on whatever you want? I get you don’t want to make ads for people but just because your a creator doesn’t mean people are getting no to watch. Good luck though.
