Should you get a TELE?

Leo was a genius by creating both the Telecaster, Stratocaster and the Precision Bass, I own all 3 and they all feel great in my hands. I just upgraded my Tele with a 4 way switch for some additional tones

@@romeou4965 4 way tele switch allows the bridge and neck pick-up to be put in Series instead of Parallel for a fuller beefer tone, not quite a humbucker tone but similar. Yes, I have had a Jazz Bass before and I did like it but thought the neck was a bit thin in my hands, The P bass felt overall better to me. I do like the body of the Jazz Bass a lot better though than the P bass. I also own a Jazzmaster guitar that I love as well

I have two off brand teles and I love them sooo much, I have a Blondie, and a thinline style Tele with a neck humbucker. Love em’

Teles keep my chops up. If I make a clam, even a tiny one, it shows right up! There's nowhere for me to hide, and that's a good thing. It's like "hey man, you slid into that note about 100ms ago. Gotcha!"

I used to have a Tele But it got kinda smelly So I swapped it for a Strat Got a cool cowboy hat Now I busk for dimes at the deli

They were first made out of pine wood as far as their bodies are concerned. Pine is very affordable, but it was a bit soft than alder and ash.

I actually find sometimes the middle pickup gets in my way....but yeah.

Because the strat sounds are so stratty? I really have to be in the mood for strat sounds. Teles do everything without any particular sound unless you really want to accentuate the snap and sizzle of the bridge pickup. If you don't, it's just a big, clear sound in all 3 positions. The Wrecking Crew put the tele on so many classic albums. Never heard a decent jazz tone on a strat, either.

Overrated guitar, don’t entirely understand the popularity of it at all. There are a million guitars with two pickups. You don’t even get separate volume and tone controls which is a LIMITING FACTOR.
