As an introvert who also loves being with friends, I can totally relate to needing time to recharge your social battery. Great Episode. I love your shirt and it’s def a compliment if one doesn’t know that you made it. That’s crazy that Addinis also in the US. Their Homeoffice is not even 20 minutes from my house 😆 It’s a nightmare when the needles don’t jive when using them. I am also a Chiaogoo gal myself 🥰 I can’t wait to see your Episode about the Flock festival 😍

@@westmaven I went to H&H Cologne last March and I visited the Chiaogoo booth. Needless to say I spent an hour listening to their rep and saw all their systems. The Forte set was amazing. Def worth the investment!

Hey Lauryl, I'm somewhat new to your podcast and love you makes. I remember seeing your Flock video last year and sadly forgot to subscribe then (I'm subscribed now though). Your piña colada is looking really good! I wonder if you could do a mid-project block to see if it will grow as a compromise? You could even treat the bobbins like an arm in a cast and protect them in a plastic bag out of the water. Your tips are good! I went to Black Sheep Gathering this year and surprised myself with how little I knitted while I was there (but I spun a TON). What are you most looking forward to doing/buying at Flock?

Love your pina colada! Have you tried blocking it to see if you get it to a width and length that you like? I block my sweaters in the middle of knitting at least two or three times to re-check my gauge and see what it’s going to look like.

2 weeks...you like a challenge. Did your swatch grow? If it did even a little then yes it will stretch. It looks like it will have some weight. Have a grest time at the festival!

Maybe have a look at the shape of the diamonds in the PomPom pictures of the Pina Colada. If it’s going to stretch, the diamonds will deform and be longer in the vertical than the horizontal. How much is that happening in the pictures? If your yarn behaves similarly, that might give you an estimation of how much the fabric is likely to stretch? Though blocking might make a big difference, I guess. 🤔
