Should You Outsource Your Wedding Edits?

Used this team. Definitely worth the try while we were in deep back log. Definitely worth the cost to get out of that season. In my experience It varies greatly on what editor you get paired with. The project manager is great and provides an overall great experience and receives feedback well to be communicated to the team. They have to work blazingly fast to get things done, but sometimes it feels too fast as many mistakes can be seen on the edits that simply shouldn't be there even in the first round. It is definitely nice to be able to work with the project files (I would never have gone with them if they hadn't offered this option). Definitely worth the try, but after receiving a film after two revisions (and providing copious amounts of detail of how to fix the issues) that was so far off the mark from our style, storytelling, and overall feel (and only able to use roughly 20% of the final edit they sent), we felt that unless we were in an absolute bind, we would just keep editing in house. Very low cost IMO, but since we are out of back log it is hard to justify risking the cost, time, and story of the day (that we personally experienced). With my experience, I would say it's great for those who don't focus too heavily on a unique storytelling style that may be challenging to replicate with a potential new editor each time.
