This was a great idea for something extra you can do for a client. It was really good to hear you say what you would leave out just due to time constraints. Good seeing your approach to saving the footage during the ceremony and essentially just having enough cards to never write over anything the day of. For all of my shoots, I backup on site, but I've always been worried about overwriting files so good logical tip.

Hello friend! I have a question. When you give the final video to the customers. Do you give them the whole ceremony? Or just a full resume of everything? I wonder what I must give them. I mean do you give them the whole pastor or priest ceremony? Or just a resume? How long must the whole video be? Thanks in advance!

Really love your videos. They make me want to make better videos for even just college projects and my own KZbin channel. I don't quite have the budget for the equipment that I would want or the time to devote to it that I would like, but your videos really inspire the filmmaker in me!!

+Wedding Film School Absolutely! I'm able to take criticism well and learn from it. Sometimes there are just people that you have to turn your cheek to, but in your field of wedding videography especially, ultimately it's you and your team shooting it and it's your creative vision for the project....and personally I think your creative vision in each of your projects is awesome!

I shot a wedding once. The photo shoot was before the ceremony and the ceremony was delayed 45 minutes because the vale was at the hotel in a different city. So the reception happened right after the ceremony and pretty much everything from that point onward was rushed. The planner approached me and asked if we could play the video in half an hour -I had just finished capturing the ceremony. SDEs are cool, but a pain in the ass when planners don't have their act together.

@WeddingFilmSchool6 ай бұрын
I wish we could answer but Kraig has long sense left the channel. It also may be helpful to know that most modern projectors will work for this. I’d say a minimum of 5000 lumens for use indoors during the day. Probably too pricey to get something that would project outside in full sun and also probably not necessary.

@WeddingFilmSchool4 жыл бұрын
So this video is from back when Kraig ran the channel. I don’t offer SDE though I’ve been a part of a few a very long time ago. The edit was typically like 2 min or so though every company does it differently. It likely won’t be 5 or 15 minutes though as that would be pretty tough to pull off

Truly amazing and inspiring. You captures the intensity of completing a SDE perfectly!!! You should have at least 5 times more views than this. Do you have online courses? How much pre planning of the story is there before the wedding day?
