absolutely you can play as solo, just like me^^ i wouldnt reccomend any private server, it seems to me its better to progress slower on the global then on some private server, but to each their own, if you start playing on NA server let me know, i usually help out new players

This game was a huge part of my teenage years. In 2020 I started playing it again after being away for over 10 years, I was never a social person and had a hard time being part of a guild. Unfortunately playing solo you can't go far, but I had fun. I ended up wasting hundreds and hundreds of dollars in the game to have a 'decent' gear. I remember I played this game for years and the best item I would drop would be an upgrade core high... years and years of playing, thousands of dungeons done and never dropped anything worth alot of alz. Or you either spend a fortune in the game, and belong to a strong guild to do the stronger dungeons. Did I mention the upgrade system? The most frustrating thing I ever seen, its incredibly difficult to upgrade, I remenber when I would try to upgrade my arcana of chaos and the defense one and it would fail. Billions of alz down the drain, I really love this game and miss it again. But I stopped playing after wasting so much money and destroying my items. I would be buying potions of luck for exchange for alz in the game, so much money for little alz. Until I found out some people would actually sell alz on facebook, if I remember it was 10 dollars for 1 billion alz, which in 2007 you could buy ALOT of amazing gear but now its pennies. For a decent blade for my blader made of archidium I remembed paying 40 billion. That's 400 dollars just for ONE blade LOL, plus another blade, suit, helmet, rings, amulets, boots, gloves. Yea I wasted easily 5000 dollars on this game.

Alot has changed but alot has stayed the same you really need to have alot info on the game if not you might spend so much and not get much out of it, im in two minds myself but i keep playing and keep trying, now you can just buy lvl 200 chars straight up, which is crap but whatever i will enjoy the game while its here and if it gets worse ill invest in a private server as i have a vision for the game and sometimes its frustrating that the developers are a bit smifu smafu let me take your money and run 🏃‍♂️

Wow thats crazy, I understand. Its like a slap in the face for everyone that worked so hard to lvl up. I remember back in the day we couldn't use the training dummies and had to skill manually. It would take months and months of skilling to get transcender lvl! I am thinking of going back I live in North america, but the issue is that I still won't have any gear, I gave my account away. its a nice video but kinda odd you didn't mention the p2w once. especially for pvp, there is 0 player skill involved, its all in the power of one's equipment and how much money they have spent on it. i've been playing on Venus server for about 4 years now and spent around 500 euro all in all and i am not even close to running mid tier dungeons in the game. the ''help'' you can get from the veterans is either very early game gear which cost nothing or them carrying the dungeons for you.. thats not fun. the sad reality is that as a f2p you will be running the same few dungeons/farm spots for years before you can move on to next one. its a mindless grind. also most free events there are, are unfortunately catered towards the paying players, they will always get richer and richer while f2p remains poor. another sad thing is that cabal veterans are very nationalistic, its very hard to find an active guild that accepts english speaking new players. most guilds are turkish or romanian or german only, if you don't speak their language ... well bad luck...

As said cabal is playable even you put money or not it depends on your goals all mmorpg have cash side. There is no perfect game i guess. Also you can be a f2p player no need to be so hasty about the people investing on it. At the end of the day you play or not there are people will play. Nice Vid😎

I used to spend 25 euros every 20 days for perfect craft 3 slot forcium gear, now i have a decent set so i dont think ill be buying forcium set again, i do buy force gems tho, which would be like 3-4 euros per month/ month and a half, i use forcegems to buy ovl exp potions and will continue to do so until i hit ovl 100, transparency is the key and every game is p2w apart from skill based games like competitive shooters or moba games

I don't wanna be that guy and burst your bubble but here are couple of things you wont see in half an year of playing the game. First of all the updates are very very slow and if you happen to play in EU BR or NA you wont even be up to date with them as the publisher is falling behind on that. The events looks interesting at first but if stick playing you will see how repetitive they become as they are absolutely the same every time. Same goes for bingo which happens few times an year and the goal is not to complete the board but to make the most of it, which leads to spending huge amount of alz and well cash. All the new content you see is pretty much stolen from other games and implemented to cabal to make you stick around a little longer but that also becomes boring once you found out the amount of time and money you need to complete well any of it. The community has a lot more scammers than actually friendly people so be very careful who you trust. And overall it's a fun game to play for a little while but if you ever want to be competitive in it you better start spending all your time and funds on it just to be able to catch up (very slowly) on the older players until then you will be 1 shot in pvp and further dungeons no matter how skillful you are this game is all about numbers. But you prolly know all that if you end up buying a cash shop set and weapons to play with =)

from one point i agree, because there is alot of truth in that, but personally for me back in the older days especially, it was all about "Finding the golden egg" , whether it be a farm spot or certain dungeons, or some sort of hustle in cabal, and when i say hustle i dont mean scamming,the "hustle" im talking about is doing my streches while doing CA 1-5 and i would consider it to be Free amusing income (Alz) , but on the other hand i am not competitive so i might have a different perspective on things, oh and i disagree on the event part, in my 5 months of playing there were load of events

The only way of progress in this game without spending money is by crafting an re-selling shit but even then it will takes u ages. Events are literally all the same in the same order every year just give it some time.

It's not how much more PVE content is available. But how much PVE content is gated by P2W wall. Lets be serious. Cabal has a VERY HIGH P2W ceiling. Better to play on private servers where progression is significantly sped up.

No, you should not play Cabal Online in 2024. This game is so fucking hardcore pay to win, it's disgusting. As a free to play player you will earn nothing, even after years of playing it constantly. Hell, you can even buy a level 200 char, you can buy full max gear for JUST 20 days. And you are STILL utterly useless in the game. That is so damn disgusting. There were times where you could have played for free and feel a little progress, but ESTSoft nerfed many farming methods right away, after they noticed, that some money is flowing through their hands. I regret starting again.

Yes i agree very pay to win but love for cabal is still there, maybe a private server would be fun to host in a year or so, collecting funds for everything so maybe i could make a more free to play version of the game where main revenue would be from cosmetics, still just a dream tho... but since there is a problem, there must be a solution somewhere
