Should You Play Storm In Marvel Rivals?

i think Storm should be Stratagist.. most of her utility supports her allies, and her attacks herself are not that strong. She doesnt "Duel".. she flies, picks people off, and supports her team with buffs. I think to fix this, is to give her a new mode, "icestorm" mode, where it does little damage to enemies inside of it, but heals allies slightly. not alot, but enough to justify calling her a stratagist. She would be the perfect mix between a Duelist and a Strategist. Strom's secondary fire should switch based on what mode she's using. if she is using storm mode, then the hitscan electric attack is fine (but better damage would be nice). but in wind mode, maybe throw own tony whirlwinds that do little damage, but traps enemies in their path that travel randomly. and make the ice variation would be a damaging blast that drastically slows the enemy for 3 seconds.

No. Honestly its a good thing that they are releasing with a character like Storm in the roster because they are finally breaking the mold of the stereotypical "dps" role. Allow non healing characters to also be able to support their team while the supports SUPPORT instead of only healing. Its why so many of the strategists in this game do good dmg as well as heals. They arent healers. Rivals is not your stereotypical hero shooter. Its finally doing some stuff different and its good to see.

Big disagree, I consistently get 30/4/30 games with storm- she can has time and time again won us games for our team by just being on point. I've defended the point with nobody but myself and a healer before- facing off against like a punisher, moon knight, iron man, and psylocke. If you're not able to be successful as her as a dps, that's a skill issue, not storms. (Also? I think a good third of my kills are because of the lightning strikes? Her right click lightning is a great finisher for enemies running away, and her storm lightning consistently just gives me free kills.)

I also disagree, guy have a very narrow mindset of dps. She is a team dps, all she need is a buff to her wind+e speed.

I feel like not enough people know this but the website list every stat and detail of a heroes ability. dont know why they dont just do it in game but its out there

Ive heard alot that storms damage isnt great for self reliance - and yes? Kind of? Ive been able to sometimes solo points, but not consistently. That being said is that not a good thing? It forces storm to play around her team, and isnt that the point?

Storm is probably the character I want to play the most, but I have a really hard time with her. I'm hoping your thoughts on how to use her will help me with that.

Support dps is always a nieche and gonna be hard to balance (sombra, sena, pyke). So i dont think she's good 😂

??? But she fills that niche really well, and is fairly well balanced? The balance suggestions I've seen have just been like- slightly buffing her wind blades. Do you have any actual reasons why she's not good? BC that's not an actual reason-
