I got myself a 5mm cable link from Linxresale and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the chain. I originally wanted a heavy link off jacoje but they didn’t have it available at the time. I thought I was gonna be disappointed with my purchase from Linx but it’s awesome and I love the chain.

I bought a 8mm 22inch 14k flat curb from jacoje several years ago way before linx was around and it still looks great after a good cleaning. I'm happy with it. It's 52.6 grams and I paid 2800 for it and I'm curious what that same chain would cost now.

Domestic is 100% worth it, at the end of the day when you go in to melt or trade in your gold the karat and weight is all thats going to matter. Folks in Canada don't have it so lucky with so many good vendors like Jacocje from the states plus we have to pay import taxes on-top of large purchases too. Americans have it pretty damn good! When it comes to gold jewelry whether 10K, 14K, 18K, or 22K the choice ultimately depends on personal preference and budget, but owning genuine gold is always a better investment than opting for gold-plated alternatives. Real gold retains value, ensures lasting quality, and offers peace of mind, whether it’s crafted in the USA or Italy. Finding a jeweler who genuinely cares about their customers, like Braden with the Jacoje brand, is key to getting high-quality pieces at fair prices. Affordable, well-made gold jewelry proves you don’t have to compromise on authenticity to stay within your budget, making it a choice you’ll appreciate for years to come. First off, happy holidays to you and Raquel! I think it definitely is personal preference, but for me, someone who became obsessed with gold in elementary school seeing my father always have a chain on😂. I'd never deny a chain just because it was domestically made because quality and weight speaks for itself. As long as that's there then it's up to the individual. I've owned a lot of chains in my life though, have only bought 1 chain and 1 pendant from jacoje. I'd never buy from anywhere else though after my first jacoje purchase because the quality and shine on jacoje gold is unmatched. As somebody who's years into the gold game, I only want top notch gold which is jacoje gold. If I won I would love that 5mm concave Braden, had my eye on it since you added it to linx, thing is gorgeous! Be blessed you guys. Sterling C Atlanta GA

I personally say gold is gold like a bunch of people. Buy what you can and rock it because it's yours. If you want to know where it comes from and how it got to you, do your research. Really liked the making moves and starting out at maybe silver then going up to gold. My next chain could very well be 18k.

I buy jewelry I love to wear every day, especially 22k gold chains…The rich, high-purity color feels elegant and special to me. For me, it's not about investment so I don’t just buy any designs or models. I visit India often where 22k gold jewelry is everywhere, but I’ve never bought a gold chain there.. I prefer to buy it here. I trust the quality and purity standards of American-made jewelry, and it’s about enjoying beautiful, reliable pieces that I can wear with pride.

I bought a domestic chain from another popular jeweler at a low price (now priced over 1k more then originally ) 18k 4 mm Franco 26 inches to be exact about a year ago had the fancy clasp stamped made in Italy but eventually upgraded to a better lock . Had it scanned at a 17.8 karat . At the end of the day gold is gold and you get what you pay for .

It’s a case by case basis. Sticker price isn’t always the final determining factor if something is quality is not. I’d have to compare the weight of each piece and figure out the price per gram, examine the craftsmanship of both pieces, and maybe even compare the different hues even if both are the same 14k, 18k, etc. I believe in you get what you pay for, but to me it’s case by case! If I’d win I’d pick the 5mm!

Happy Holidays Braden, Raquel and Jacoje fam! I think domestic is worth it as long as you don’t care about the “Italy” stamp. Domestic has really upped their production quality within the last few years (especially in the rope chain department). Without the mark up from duties and everything that goes with importing goods, you can make a real solid case that domestic is truly the way to go in 2024 and beyond to beat these high gold prices without sacrificing purity. Good luck everybody! If I were to win, I’d want the 5mm. First this situation really depends on the type of chain or link for example, if I am going to by a Cuban link chain, I am very picky about the gaps between the links and I if have to pay extra for an Italian made chain( which are the best in machine made chains) I would buy the Italian made chain till I can afford a handmade Miami Cuban link chain. Other then the Cuban link, if you are getting a really good deal per gram for gold, I would buy the cheapest per gram as along as the quality isn’t affected.

I don't personally care if it is "domestic" or "Italian". You have to determine what you want and the look you're going for first and then how often will you wear a piece. I wear a 5.5mm flat curb from Linx every day, mostly tucked in 99% of the time. There is no point where I have wished that I had the 5.5mm flat curb from Jacoje again. So it's 3.5 grams less... doesn't matter. I think it's unfair to call Linx stuff "cheaper". It should be said as Jacoje being "more expensive" because those are the chains with the fees associated. It comes with the chain. I've had a bunch of Jacoje stuff over the years and it's really nice, but so is the stuff on Linx. I would take the 4mm at 22 inches. Thanks guys. David N. Greenwood, IN

Buying gold is like buying a car that you like. Would you rather buy a domestic made Mustang GT or an imported Toyota Supra? The reality is that both are very good options but it depends a lot on your preferences or features you are looking for. Just like deciding between a heavy link, cable link, and a heavy cable link, they are all right choices. For many years Italian gold has been the most popular and the most demanded due to the quality and good design of the pieces. But that doesn't mean that everything good comes exclusively from there. I believe that domestic gold chains open the doors to a local industry that is also capable of providing quality pieces. Having both options provides infinite possibilities for those who want to buy jewelry, whether by design, weight of the piece, size, price per gram, or purity. Always aim for your preferences and desires. Good luck and Happy holidays! Jay P. Georgia.

I have to admit that I didn't know this about the concave curb chain. But even hearing that, it does not phase me at all. I remember the video you put out a while ago, something like, "its been awhile since we have had these (concave curb)...", you were holding it outside in the light, and wow! If you are a Chargers fan, I gotta say this would be the perfect chain. It literally looks like a bolt of lightning is running through it when the light hits it a certain way. I would imagine that a custom Chargers logo in 14k gold and diamonds, would fit the concave curb perfectly. I wish I could post that video for everyone to see. I'm a Cowboys fan so a custom Dallas star on this concave would look like I'm wearing a defibrillator to try to revive our crappy season lol love the Boys anyway but yall have at it with this comment lol Yall at Jacoje, keep up the hustle. I appreciate yall working with these distributors who have chosen to do business with Jacoje, and allowing yall to continue to bring us quality options for gold chains and pendants. Alot of people don't know this part of the business, but a distributor can chose not to work with someone and that can mean a whole region of people will not have access to quality pieces, or if they do, it will be from other dealers who you don't even know. Like the mechanic you call because he's been working on your vehicles since you got your first car, Jacoje is my go to for brand new pieces. If it’s a special piece such as a wedding band, engagement ring or gift purchased to commemorate a special event (such as birth of a child, promotion, graduation etc.) then I think paying a bit of a premium could be justified because it will likely be owned and cherished for a lifetime and the quality/prestige will add to the sentimental value. If the piece isn’t special and you just want a certain look, then gold is gold and you may as well save some money. If you’re like me; a piece without sentimental value will likely be traded in at some point to Linx Resale for an upgrade later anyway so no point in paying a premium you won’t get back. For someone that is young in age, who might not have the same budget as someone who has already made it or has gotten established, then I feel like buying a jewelry piece that is less expensive and is made domestically is perfectly, perfectly, perfectly valid and it is more than okay. They can always graduate in terms of quality in due time. Also, at the same time, for someone who had to sell their gold because their spouse had to go through chemo(cancer) or anything of that sort... And at the very moment, the storm has already passed(when it rains, it pours as we all know) and the individual feels like their neck and wrist is naked and they would like to just have something that could fit their budget by getting something quick and inexpensive made domestically until they can save enough to get back to the quality that he/she is accustomed to, then it perfectly perfectly perfectly fine as well to get an inexpensive jewelry piece. I don't buy a piece unless I truly like it! For me it's quality over quantity! I want to feel something around my neck, so the heavier the better, I do not go for the hollow or semi-hollow pieces. I'd rather have one or two solid, high quality pieces. My favorite is 18kt or 22kt Diamond Cut Franco (silk); it has the weight and the shine! D/C Rope is number two. Weight, glisten, color, and durability! Thickness depends on the pendants if worn, and length! Usually it's 18kt 2.5mm to 4mm, 24" or 26" chain. The only time I will go for something a little lighter or thinner is a pendant piece that I cannot find anywhere else! Basically, I want something that is an outstanding piece, an investment, and something that will truly last! That's why when I say Jacoje sells the best, because so many places literally, I've searched place after place, to find a decent chain or pendant! Maybe it's just because I know a good piece of jewelry when I see it, otherwise it truly bothers me! Thanks guys! Happy Holidays! Marie Chicago

In my opinion, at the end of the day, gold is still gold wherever it's from. So it doesn't matter if you buy "cheap" gold, it will still be gold. I am sure everyone wouldn't mind saving a bit of money here and there so "cheap" gold is not a bad option if you want to pay a bit less. I think “cheap” gold is worth it. There are high quality manufacturers that are outside of Italy. I think going with a “cheap manufacture” can also open up a conversation about country of origin, chain link, chain length, diamond cut vs plain cut etc. The same applies to the watch industry : there are high quality watch manufacturers that are not Rolex or omega or ap; if you see someone with a “cheap” watch it open the conversation to movement, dail, bracelet etc I like the 4 m concave more than the 5; for my taste 5 starts to get to “showy” Roy Gonzalez Roseville, Ca

It is good that there are higher and lower quality Gold Jewelry available because everyone has a different budget. When I buy gold, I’m looking for weight. I prefer 18k or 22k. I rather have domestic made gold chains if it saves me some money as long as it has weight. For instance, look at Van Cleef jewelry. People are paying insane amounts of money for almost no weight in gold. They are paying for the brand. When I’m buying a chain, I’m buying for the weight in gold. I rather wear my gold than keep it stuffed in a safe doing nothing. I bought 3 pieces from Jacoje. I will be looking at Linx for my 22k pieces. I used to buy 10k domestic chains, just for the look, I figured a cheap chain is better than a fake one. I still have 2 10k pieces that I inherited, and both are domestically made, it obviously doesn’t matter to me as I don’t have them to “flex”. However, for trophy pieces I always made sure to buy higher quality and higher purity stuff. I think if you’re buying something for aesthetic reasons, or sentimental reasons, it doesn’t matter if it’s domestic or lower quality, but if you’re buying something to show off it’s nice to get the extra cool points & know that you have the best of the best. I agree with the misses 14k is 14k it’s made domestically so you get to save a few bucks but with the gold prices right now, what you get for what you are spending is good quality…. That concave is beastly I like that the links are closer than the regular curb and gives you that Miami feel with tighter links plus it shines like no other…. Let’s go…. Domestic concave for the WIN.

If we’re talking apples to apples the Jacoje Franco hands down one of the best made chains I’ve ever purchased! The rest of the Franco’s out there I have had do not have the end caps between the lobster claw which just makes the chain more aesthetically pleasing gotta love it! In my opinion, gold is gold unless we’re talking 10 K lol I would definitely rock that 5mm 22 inch curb chain side-by-side with my Jacoje Franco Big shout out to the good people at Jacoje Jewelers for always keeping us on point and one step ahead!! As a consumer, I don't think the manufacturer matters. As long as you trust the seller, I think the quality will be there no matter where it's from. Gold is king Pete W Bellmawr, NJ

In my opinion, everything comes down to reputation history. Italy has that reputation of supplying high quality products when domestic jewelry doesn’t. There is high quality domestic products, it’s just a matter of finding it. So when we get an honest company like Jacoje/Linx, you’ll more than likely get quality products at a reasonable price. Have a great holiday guys. Stay blessed. Richard G Philadelphia, PA

Personally, I don’t mind non Italy stamped and chains that aren’t as heavy. In my opinion, if it looks good and you like it then that’s all that matters. And it’s always nice to save a dollar or two as well. Keep up the videos! Drake L. York, PA

I rather have jewelry made in Italy. There is nothing wrong with domestic gold but I just prefer Italy made. My first gold chain was made in Canada. I always wished it was from Italy. Nobody will ever ask to see the stamp on your chain to see where it was made so it's really up to the person wearing it. I'd love a 5 mm flat curb chain. That would look sweet with my 8 mm Figaro. Cheers! Jim M Wallingford CT

I agree gold is gold but at the same time you can see the quality difference from the Jacoje and Linxresale. It’s night and day difference. I have Italy made chains but I wouldn’t mind buying a domestic made chain they are still real gold at the end of the day. Mark c Sunnyside,wa

I think it's just preference but for me knowing it's the best quality just makes u feel better like confident i wasn't even into gold or jewelry until 2 years ago when I started watching your videos and I've had cheap and expensive and it just feels so different i would definitely always go with jacoje ive never had a linx chain i trust jacoje so im sure linx chains feel great i would love to have the 22in 5mm Juan N Fresno CA

Nobody ever asks me what stamp I have on my chain. If they ask, it's what the purity is. At the end of day, that stamp is not going to increase the sale value if you decided to sell it. Gold is gold and you will get near spot, Italian stamp or not. I'd prefer the 5mm. My little brother has yet to have a chain, I think the concurve would be a good first. I would give it away to him. The pendant on my everyday chain does not have the Italy stamp and I have noticed that it lacks the high-quality polish of other pendants, but it is not a super big deal to me. The pendant serves its purpose and I’m happy with it. Sean S. New York, NY

As long as it's solid 14kt gold, and the chain is good quality then I'm fine. Just because it's not made in Italy doesn't make it cheap IMO. When I see fake two tone chains like the common crappy Figaro with the white gold diamond cut down the center and it's very light links and light chain. Braden shown one of those types of Figaro's in a different video not too long ago, that's cheap jewelry too me. I wish I could say "gold is gold" while that' may be true at least on scrap, chain wise, it's not. If gold gets too high to buy quality gold chains, I guess then I'd stick with 925 Italian silver. The two chains Braden is wearing and showing in the video seem to be good quality chains and I really like that double stack! Love the 5mm that would look great on my nephew! Stay blessed! Using gold bullion as an example. I would absolutely buy what's called generic gold bc after all, it would still be pure gold. But when you get a USA walking liberty coin, the market recognizes it and therefore will have a mark up " higher spot price" bc of the quality control the US mints are known to have. Same goes for jewelry. Italy is known for having great quality control therefore you'd pay for a bit more of a price. Other things also come into play, of course. As far as a domestic piece of jewelry, I would say it would be up to the consumer to keep their eye out on the quality control a bit more than a reputable company.. just like any other good like, for example, tools or cars or anything. I personally would buy some domestic jewelry bc i feel comfortable with my knowledge of some jewelry. Honestly, I started learning a few years ago from channels like jacoje.. so thanks guys haha and thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome jewelry. Erik Gallegos Albuquerque NM

I say save your money until you can get the chain you want. You will have it a lifetime so just save until u can buy it. Brandon told me this 4 1/2 years ago. I bought a 2mm heavy link, and it was great. But 6 months later I bought a 3mm. Todd H. Mooresville, NC

For me, it doesn’t matter about domestic or imported gold. Gold is an expensive asset right now and as long as you are choosing where the chains are being manufactured, they are going to be good quality. I trust the quality of the gold you are selling on Jacoje or Linx Resale. I can’t afford a gold chain right now but would love to win that chain. It would be an amazing Christmas gift lol Alexander Gonzalez Fairfield,CA

I don't feel like a domestic chain I'd going the "cheap" route. It might be the frugal route, but you know..."in this economy". It's actually a great business plan to have a more affordable brand. That's for chains. On the pendants I've looked at the thinner ones and wasn't a fan for those (not jacoje or linx, but a different jeweler), and I wasn't a fan. But chains I definitely would go the frugal route. Timothy K Houston, TX

Tricky, These links feel like something a lot of people just throw on to have a chain (which is understandable, Gold luster is addicting to look at 10/10 of the time) I just feel like a lot of people should spend a little more time to find themselves in their jewelry, cause it’s more than just gold, all different cuts/links feel like art and there’s too many options to jump to flat curbs, your jewelry should reflect your nature, if there’s anything worth saving up for, it’s a fitting jewelry piece. (All that being said, with the resources, a really wide flat curb weekend piece would be an essential lol) Angel O Los Angeles, CA

I'm all about Italian made gold chains. You can see that special hue of gold that is unique to those Italian chains. With that being said, gold is gold! Some of the chains you sell on Linx are absolutely stunning, and I would rock one of them all day. I would be so pumped to get that 5mm Flat concave link chain! It is an awesome chain! I have some older stuff too that I just really like that would not be considered top shelf by today's standards but the piece just does it for me. So, I know exactly what your talking about. I actually commented on the anchor piece and the cable link chain and said that I liked it. I thought at first it was an anchor chain. Taking that Anchor pendant and redoing it as a Jacoje piece is a fantastic idea. Revive some of these older classic designs. What is old can be new again. I would prefer the 5MM myself. A thicker chain is my Preference. Rich. L. Huntsville. AL

I love gold, but I’m still learning about it from your videos. A couple months ago I had a cheap 10k gold rope chain, but it got run over sadly. When it comes to lower priced gold, I think it can still work if it’s well made, knowing the price per gram and labor involved. tbh I don’t really care if a chain doesn’t have the Italy stamp as long as it has some weight to it and my style and is real or course. I’m saving up for a Jacoje piece because I’ve heard nothing but good about the quality and how durable they are so i’m looking to buy my first solid piece from you .Personally I like curb and byzantine chains byzantine is heattt🔥. I personally don’t think it matters if it has the Italian stamp and don’t think it’s a cheap route if it’s high-quality made I do like wearing a heavy chain around the neck because I like that feel for and every day peace but a piece of break out once in a while in different occasions I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with going with a lighter route I would prefer the 5 mm just for a bigger look awesome video explaining (Steven s Buffalo NY 14228)

It's sooooo cliché but "gold is gold" of course I'd rather buy a domestic made chain for way less money. I love Italy and all but man is it so over hyped when it comes to food and other goods, I've had better pizza in Greece and pasta in Spain, so gold is no different.
