Lately I have been liking this style a lot. I’ve been saving up for a Jacoje chain after years of watching; and instead of saving for a chunky chain, I think I wanna get a thin Franco with a small diamond pendant. I feel like people would give more compliments cuz there are more people who like shiny things vs people who actually compliment because they know about intrinsic value in precious metal content. Raquel please read this.!!!!! I am biggest fan and so sad that I fell on hard times this year and had to sale my jacoje franco 3.5 . Now I don't have a chain to rock and I've been saving up but the prices are going up. I just haven't been able to vet myself anything . I miss my chain sooo much. It really does give you good vibes when you rock a jacoje chain especially. You know that you have the best quality in the world. I so need to win one of these giveaways. Daniel W Evansville IN

Is it just me that doesn't like super 'iced out' pieces with the little tiny stones?. I kinda get paranoid that one of them will fall out and will be a pain to replace. I'd rather have something with fewer but larger stones in more substantial settings.

Listen, any piece of jewelry that speaks to you is worth it. I really don’t think that you should buy jewelry pieces that you don’t love, regardless of the resale value. I know, I buy jewelry planning on keeping it for ever and passing it on, if I bought it for an investment, it would lose all the good. Invest in stocks. Love the unique and one of a kind pieces for sure, love the candy cane, it will certainly be enjoyed every year at the holidays. Robert B. Hudson, Ohio

Happy Holiday’s JACOJE Fam! I value the LABOR. Because when I buy my jewelry it’s FOREVER. But there comes a point when the labor is just too high to justify the specific piece. (Example would be some “art” quality jewelry, because I’m not an art collector) That candy cane and Franco combo is so ice cold. I’d rock that every Christmas/winter/holiday season/halloween (lol) until the day I die. ❄️🥶 Matthew G Cincinnati Ohio

I think if you’re not worried about the resale value and truly value the meaning behind the piece then it’s worth it. Since you’ll never get your money back from a custom iced out piece it should be something you would expect to keep for life and pass down. I’m more into investment pieces that hold their value. More gold, less diamonds!

I definitely value unique, labor intensive pieces. While I understand that the resell value isn’t there, that’s not the purpose of those pieces. Paying the jeweler what they are worth and recognizing the art behind the piece is invaluable. At the end of the day, love the piece you wear and rock it with confidence, no matter the cost or the value. Megan M. Aberdeen, MD

The value for me comes from the meaning behind the chain and pendant, whether that’s what a specific piece means to you or if it was a gift that has that deeper meaning. Chains that are passed down from relatives mean the most to me because of that history behind it and always reminding you of that person, letting their legacy live on through you. They’re worth whatever the consumer is willing to pay for them. It’s personal preference, and those pieces are lifetime pieces; however, the re-sale value won’t be there. If the piece has sentimental value and you know for a fact you will keep it forever, it would be worth it. It’s definitely better to buy these pieces used because they don’t have the labor markup on them. Travis N. Manchester, KY

First off let’s talk about the franco.. absolutely the best size and length to hang with the mini pendants!! And second off.. I love diamonds. I buy my jewelry to wear, not for investments. All of my pieces are sentimental in some way so if I want diamonds in the piece then it is well worth it. If I have to worry about whether or not I’m gonna be losing money selling it down the line or not that’s probably a sign I shouldn’t be buying it in the first place. Dan G Monument, Co

You can’t necessarily buy diamonds EXPECTING they will give you the money you put in back with the labor costs and all that but to me the value is in your enjoyment of it and the quality piece itself. As the value of gold and such goes up, you just might be able to find a jewelry collector to give you a similar or higher price than what you got, especially with a unique piece. But you have to be patient and find the right buyer don’t expect to get your money back from a pawn shop or reseller it’s just how that business works Daniel Vaitzblit Manchester NH

I think the way you justify a diamond piece like that would be if there's some meaning behind it. Good example would be the picture charms of a lost loved one. Another good point on leaving it to kids. My goal is to have a necklace and charm that I wear all the time that my boys remember me having and would mean something to them when I'm gone. But, financial tip, only get it if you can afford it...don't mortgage your future for some bling! (sorry Brayden). Tim Karamitsos Houston, TX

I value what it's worth having the knowledge of pieces. But it would be worth more with sentimental value, if you get something iced out you love can't put a price on that. Average person would probably take a gold chain since it's Old school and quick to the point. Diamond without the correct information are very tricky to know a value of it, the value in it is the meaning it has to you ultimately. Jose Santa ana Ca.

The intricacy of a well made smaller detailed pendant has always been more intriguing to me. Just an opinion but I feel its even more of a statement than most huge "in your face" style pendants that can lack detail. Lastly if you pair diamonds and rubies in a piece you got an eye catcher. Also for your turkey soup, if you have the time make a deep roux before your broth and it makes a more rich soup almost to mimic the taste of gravy. Thanks you guys Colin W. Phx AZ

In all honesty the gold custom pendants will hold more value than diamond or ruby pendant every single time. The only time a jeweller/pawn will consider diamonds if they are of a considerable size and quality. So if we looking at value standpoint small diamonds that people use in most custom pieces wont hold value. The only real value would be the gold. Also diamonds fall out of pieces over time the gold will hold its shape forever if it is a quality piece (ex.jacoje solid pendants). Custom gold over one with stones any day. Merry Christmas from Canada 🇨🇦. Cheryl A. Ontario.

Diamonds add such a wow factor to any pendant. When you are out in the sun it just makes people stop and stare at it even if it is a small piece. The extra labor and money for the diamonds/custom pieces even if it is expensive is worth it to those who are planning to keep it for life. John A Ontario, Canada

Custom pieces are never meant to be resold. They're made because you wanted it, customized in the ways you want it to be one of a kind and to stand out from the rest. That's how I see it. And it usually is meant to hold sentimental value, not usually retain some value. Of course everyone knows that diamonds are essentially worthless. If I must go the diamond route, lab made diamonds is better because you don't lose a lot of money like you would with natural ones. Such as a lab diamond button on a box lock for a miami cuban chain made in Miami. But I'm more for jewelry that's more metal than "bling." Precious metals hold more value over diamonds (natural and lab) AND moissanite stones. At the end of the day, jewelry pieces are meant to be a statement piece and a self expression of oneself.

For me it all really just depends on budget and priorities. Like right now I would only buy solid gold because of what I am able to afford. But later in life, I wouldn’t mind getting some subtle pieces with stones. I personally love rubies and would consider getting a name pendant or something with rubies. I suppose it just depends but once you add stones theres no denying the artistic appeal to your jewelry. Thank you guys for the giveaways. Ariel, New York

Eventually I do plan to get myself a 4mm or 5mm franco chain, however in the mean time, im happy with 2.5mm franco and will eventually get a small pendant to add to this chain and eventually pass on to her. Valuing a diamond piece. Most of the time the sentimental aspect is the biggest deal. Of course later on in life if you're trying to resell the value of the labor might not be there. Unless it's a stone that it alone is only going to increase in value like a 1ct red diamond. I believe if you love the diamond piece enough in the end its absolutely worth the money! I have a buddah and I love how the diamonds shine, they are natural vs diamonds but I believe diamonds are not a good investment and rather get lab diamonds honestly. Personally really like diamond pieces/pendants. Diamonds aesthetically have a lot of shine which I like. But aside from that, they carry a lot of symbolism (diamonds are forever, commitment, etc) and heirloom potential/sentimental value. Josh M Cincinnati OH

I think sometimes people forget that jewelry doesn't always have to be something bought as an investment or something that needs tangible worth. There's many pieces out there that are focused on the craftsmanship and the artform of it all. I think there's nothing wrong with owning something that may not have the most value but speaks to the person wearing it. The jewelry we wear can also be a way of expressing who we are as a person. (NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THIS) Diamond jewelry is for sure worth it to me if I’m dropping that kind of 💰I might as well shine bright like a diamond. 😂I love the style of it tho and I justify the price of it by calling it investment jewelry even if my pockets might not agree This pendant is perfect for the holidays but wearing it year round might make it feel like I’m stuck in Christmas so i would just wear it during this time.Either way these giveaways are awesome keep em coming Brayden and Raquel!!! Custom pieces are the pieces you pass on to your kids. I have a custom pendant from my grandma, and when I wear it, it’s like she next to me chillin Francisco G Dallas tx

I’ve had pieces given to me by my grandma that was sadly sold to make ends meet I feel pieces have sentimental value due to the rough and good times you’ve spent with those items, I don’t care for value more of a sentimental value that I’m in it for. hope I could win a piece from jacoje for Christmas as my year went well but suddenly went downhill really quickly, happy holidays Braden and Rachel Austin tx Jose p

Custom piece should have sentimental value, therefore hard to put a price on it. A lot of folks these days just want to flex, and ice out anything and everything, I think that is a waste. To each his own... Michael H Irvine Ca

I love adding stones! I always go by 'less is more' though, I would rather only one cool emerald or ruby than more of some stones that aren't as nice. I kind of view it as going hollow or solid for gold, it's always worth downsizing and going with solid than a bigger hollow piece. That candy cane is beautiful! Dominic, Victoria BC

I love setups like that because of how the pendant pops. The chain is quality is beautiful but doesn’t take away from the pendant but together brings everything all together. The candy cane isn’t too out there either you could get away with wearing it and not have everyone’s eyes on you but still rock an amazing piece of jewelry. Keep up the hard work throughout the holiday season! Take care guys. Jackson C Delta, British Columbia, Canada

Raquel hit it right on the money! I always buy with the intention of keeping jewelry forever and passing it down. I will rock the heck out of this chain then pass it down to my daughter (sorry boys). Uriel P Lancaster, CA

I definitely think it's a very specific theme, but overall, it does have a nice contrast of colors. I like the size, it's small enough it doesn't look like it'd get snagged or caught on anything when working out or moving around with it on, but large enough to see it across the room which is a bonus to me. As for Thanksgiving , cranberry sauce is always a MUST at my house.

Personally think a custom piece with diamonds is just too flashy for myself. I get enough attention with big gold chains

As a long time customer of Jacoje, I love to see the custom pieces that Braden and his team bring to the website. Although, since I am not a very religious person, I would love see some more alternate or “unconventional” religious pieces (i.e. alien related ufology, nature and “Tree and life” concepts, mystical and cosmic beliefs, etc.). I really love pieces like the candy cane, ghost pendant, and all the animal pendants. Jacoje definitely makes the best and most beautiful pendants in the industry! Sending you all good vibes!😎 Alejandro C. Charlotte, NC

I recently bought your scorpian pendant as a forever piece so I guess to me the price was worth it because it is something that I will have for a long time to hand down or stay in the family so I think to me it is definitely worth it whether gold diamonds ruby's or any precious stone, if it's something you will have forever it's worth the price!!!
