I havent checked your videos in a bit glad to see your still making content! Do you have a build breakdown/parts list because i want to do pretty much the same build on my 96 wagon. The only difference really i have a f22b1 instead. I really wanna build a budget turbo build on it to have some fun in the summer. I do have a backup car aswell(another accord obviously 93 exr lol)

I'm still learning but isn't smoke from the turbo a sign of too much oil? I heard something about running an oil restrictor to the turbo so it's not seeing to much PSI and blow out your seals?

I still haven't bought the Hondata S300 and ECU. Bought the entire kit in 2019 if you remember me asking you about the tuning back then. That has basically been my roadblock and why I haven't started the project. Also I can't seem to find any Honda tuners in North Carolina. Debating driving it to Colorado and leaving it with PFI Speed to do for me. I think they will give me the Brent Special H22 Turbo for something around $10K. Just curious...do you take work like this? I bought all the hardware except I need a downpipe fabricated and (again) the tuning. It isn't my daily. Honestly, I really just need the S300 and downpipe and I'd be comfortable with finishing the project.

Man, the ONLY reason I won't turbo my rsx is because of the crash bar. I can't come to terms with cutting/removing. Na life for me... planning on 11:5:1 on the k24 and obviously all the supporting mods. Yo but all in all, great video, this is good for some newbies, like myself.

About the automatic transmission. I have heard it’s better to turbo an automatic if your planing on going in a straight line. Someone let me know if this is true because I’m planning on turboing my 2007 accord and it’s an automatic. But it’s just a project that I am going to use to drag race with friends

Did you do a full rebuilt new piston etc ?

Nope just new rings and honed the block. Head studs too with a new gasket and decked the head. Everything else was reused.

What’s the horse? Thinking about getting a 5th gen for my project car but idk if it’s worth it. Yeah I could get a civic and blah blah blah but eh idk I like the accord plus my height. I want to know if it would be able to gap most cars aka hell cat and other dudes like that 😂 ik it’s not going to be gapping other tuned cars but yk

Haha won’t gap many fast cars at this power level but keep up with some mustangs and older corvettes I can say. Never had it on the dyno but probably makes shy of 300. Still quick tho!

Ok so I plan on doing the same with my 96 CD7 with the F22b2 like yours, but running a OBD1 ecm, did you have to change a lot in the main wire harness?

I think there were a couple pins that were different. Can’t remember which but other than the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness it’s not a big deal. Just need pin outs to see what is different.

Me driving my late grandmas 96 accord she gave me with 16k 👀. The car just broke 100k this year but I only drive her for groceries now. The paint is perfect but it’s fucking sage “green” and I hate it. New good paint is like 3-5k, needs wheels so that’s like 1-2k. I almost wanna turbo it, keep it stock on the outside, and keep it like grandmas accord… but it would be so much nicer if it had a darker color, alloys, get rid of the drums in the rear paint the calipers and everything slowly over time. Oh, never mind. It’s an automatic 😂

I bought a kit for the 97 accord, looking to get about 8-10psi. Shirt story long, I need a programmable ecu... I'm about to order the hondata s300 v3 but is there a cheaper alternative? This is the part I can't wrap my brain around. I won't be going e85 very hard to find in my area i have tuners in the area but would you be willing to do a video call and help me tune it? I've done all the work on the car myself and wound prefer to be able to replicate it in the future. I have more questions, I have almost everything I need for install (ecu missing) and I know people who have installed turbos before so I can get it done in a weekend. I'm not completely retarded when it comes to mechanical work and understanding but ecu swaps or adds are new to me.
