The design of the 992.2 looks great. It doesn’t have the fish mouth front intake, or the giant overbite on the rear bumper. Not to mention the 992.2 has real vents on the rear instead of the 992.1 fake VW vents.

Yes GT3 is the way to go!

I know, right? Just so pricey 🥲

Ill be ordering the new touring. I have the 992.1 but I didn't build it. Mine has bucket seats and is a very track focused interior which i find pointless for my lifestyle and because i have the manual. I want a luxurious interior through special wishes program that is comfortable for everyday and of course a manual again. Plus, the new one comes with rear seats and i have little kids 😊.

O wow congratulations, and thanks for sharing your story! Must be nice to already have one, and in your case, yes I would 100% agree for you to order one to your exact liking! Where are you located, and is it hard to get an allocation? Thanks

My pleasure. I'm in Long Island, NY, it's not easy to get one here but I owned and traded a few cars. I currently have my gt3 and a cayenne turbo GT

O wow, very nice Porsches which you have there! I’m sure the Cayenne Turbo GT drives awesome! Yes it’s a bit easier to get a GT3 allocation, especially if you’re a repeat customer, but still pretty hard to lock one down! Question for you, do you sense a huge difference response in driving the 992 GT3, especially with the double wishbone? I haven’t had the pleasure to drive one, so I’m very curious to know how much difference it makes. Thanks

@Albertandcars I haven't experienced the 991 gt3 but I had a 992 turbo S before and traded it for the gt3. I can say, the difference between the turbo S and the gt3 on handling and grip is huge. Obviously, they are totally different cars and I love the turbo S but the gt3 is just on a whole other level.

O wow! Thanks for the insight I really wanted to test drive a GT3 soon, to actually get the feeling of the drive. I test drove a 2016 GT3 RS, and it was an absolute weapon!!

I keep my 992.1

That’s true too! With the new price points, prices are going way up!

Nice you see a Canadian KZbinr. In 6 not sure the GT3 is worth it. Night just be over hyper IMHO... Fire 3 out track use.. Why world you buy a new car from a dealer?? I'd like for AG older 911 and modify...
@Albertandcars7 күн бұрын
That’s true too! Nice insight! A modified older 911 would be nice, as it’s lighter, and the HP to weight ratio would be amazing!

Have you thought about touring version? Unless you plan to keep both GTS and GT3 (Track only).
@Albertandcars11 күн бұрын
Yes sir! The touring actually did come through my mind, but I think I might keep the Targa and get a winged GT3 in the future. 🤞🏼 Hopefully near future haha

No! albert, do not get a get a GT3 - I don't need more competition for an allocation at PCNT (lol). Like you I've been playing on the configurator as soon as it went live. My PTS build is only $330k but i'll be watching with interest if the price increase of the .2 will do anything to dampen the GT3 queue. That and the fact that the .2 changes are minor, nothing revolutionary. As I have no lengthy history with the brand (just a .1 c2), I really really hope everyone loses interest in the GT3s now that the MSRP has spiked (if I ever hope for a build allocation). My thinking is at these prices, it's got to be a PTS slot or pass. Can't afford to compromise on any aspect of the dream build if forced to pay these CAD prices.

I agree. I’m hoping the flippers will no longer be interested in this car. I highly doubt the 992.2 will be flipped for $100k more like previous GT3’s. Therefore without the flippers, I’m hoping a non-VIP client like myself has a chance.

I absolutely agree with you! I think interest might dip a bit, but I don’t think the market price of these will crash, as it’s like a unicorn with every brand going electric and turbo. There’s always going to be some motor head enthusiasts like us that wants the real deal, aka a car that Naturally Revs to 9k RPM. Hopefully we can all get one before they stop making it, and then the value can go up haha!
@Albertandcars8 күн бұрын
Same here! I think the value will hold, but it won’t be as flippable as before. I remember during Covid, people were flipping them for $150k CAD and more. Total insanity! If I can get an allocation for a GT3, I would totally go PTS, and go for ED! What an incredible experience it would be!
@Jeremyyy41210 күн бұрын
not worth it imo, specially when you can rent one at the track and abuse it.
@Albertandcars7 күн бұрын
That’s so true! I don’t think we can do that in Canada, but it would be a good idea to actually rent a GT3 and abuse it on the track!

Order a wing 992.2 GT3 for 2025 since you value manual transmission.
