From the web: The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), also known as The Exhibition or The Ex, is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on the third Friday of August leading up to and including Canadian Labour Day, the first Monday in September. With approximately 1.5 million visitors each year, the CNE is Canada's largest annual fair and the sixth largest in North America. The first Canadian National Exhibition took place in 1879, largely to promote agriculture and technology in Canada. Agriculturists, engineers, and scientists exhibited their discoveries and inventions at the CNE to showcase the work and talent of the nation. As Canada has grown as a nation, the CNE has reflected the growth in diversity and innovation, though agriculture and technology remain a large part of the CNE. For many people in the Greater Toronto Area and the surrounding communities, the CNE is an annual family tradition.

I believe that if you are going to a TFC or Argos game, admission to the CNE is free. And I do have to recommend going at night. Seeing the Midway all lit up is pretty cool. Haven't gone this year, might have time to do it next year.

Yes, the free admission is true. Great point. I definitely need to go back sometime before it is over to see the midway light up - i’ve heard it’s spectacular!

There were lots and lots and lots of games as usual, a bit of live music playing on the stage, and the food building was massive but I didn’t stop in. Tons to do!

@@TylerCocci My mom went with my siblings 2 weeks ago and they spent an hour waiting in line for food at the food court for lunch but we went to a random pizza stand near the ferris wheel which had no line and it took 5 seconds to get the food because the pizza was hot n resdy

I worked at the CNE and what he's saying is absolutely right. Always buy the express pass because the lines is always so long and the Express pass CAN sell out fast.

there is not unfortunately, when u go on rides, you just put ur things on the floor around the fences of the ride

@@TylerCocci As a kid it was the euro slide but they tore it down because of a malfunction which sucked. I used to go once every year to the cne but haven’t gone in 6 years until this point. I was disappointed to find the Euro slide and Blitzer not standing and even more dissappointed to find Blitzer’s replacement not even open.

You can buy an all day (unlimited) rides pass, which would be most similar to a Wonderland experience. Or, you could buy single ride tickets if you just want to try a few.

Yes. Fast pass can only be bought at the park on the day of use.

@@TylerCocci CNE food is so one of a kind and bizzare. It sucks the ice cream didn’t have a tiny sample that would cost like 5-10% of the original price so we would try it because I’d prefer knowing if I liked ketchup ice cream before spending whatever money I have to buy the overpriced food

@@TylerCocci I think they replaced it with an Adirondack outlaw clone which would have been amazing as those type of rides are some of the best flat rides on earth but when I was there were maintenance crews working on it all day so it was closed.
