An opening day POV ride on the Sky Ride at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. This ride takes us over the midway past numerous rides, games and food stalls before touching down on the east end of Exhibition Place.

Just an educated guess but that ride has 110 cars at 30 feet apart, sooo, it would be 3300 ft divided by 2 = 1,650 ft long and it took 12 minutes so it is 1/3 of a mile travelling at 6 mph?

The log ride at Canada's Wonderland still exists but it's wildly inferior to the one Ontario Place had. It's much shorter and you get stupidly drenched for no reason lol

For future reference, always go on opening day. Rides are cheaper. This year it was 8 tickets for $22. Only on opening day, each ride required only 1 ticket. These opening day tickets are a different colour and can ONLY be used on this one day.

Thanks for this bird's eye view of the midway. I love this ride, even though my stomach drops every time I get on it. 🥴 Too bad there isn't a real roller coaster ride this year. If you want to cool off, go on the Niagara Falls ride and you will get soaked. Did you try the Euroslider ride, Johnny? 🎡🎪🎢
