From what I've heard from an interview, lucas wrote the entire original trilogy and planned to make it into a giant movie. However, he noticed that it was going to be too long( which is why the vader father twist was so good, he had it planned). So he probably planned for them to be blood related, why he made them kiss i have no idea. Maybe he had a thing for it? Lol

Vladislav (I’m assuming you aren’t being sarcastic, so I’m literally about to explain why a joke is funny, so it may come off as condescending. However try not to take it that way) It’s somewhat in part, her delivery. She giggles while saying it, which alone is reason to find something funny. Laughing is contagious. But primarily the humor of the joke stems from the surprise of such a serious scene, being used in juxtaposition to such a casual and cute context. Just the general unexpectedness of it. In addition, at this point, she has made the joke twice now so it’s starting to get the feeling of being a running gag, of sorts. A kind of inside joke almost. And people also find inside jokes endearing and extra funny. Which is why shows like It’s Always Sunny, and Archer, are so popular.

David Baines I know the Disney Trilogy gets a lot of hate, and I don’t like it that much either, but The Force Awakens, and The Rise Of Skywalker we’re decent, Last Jedi sucked. Same goes for the Prequels too I guess Phantom Menace was really cool, I didn’t like Attack Of The Clones that much, and Revenge Of The Sith was a masterpiece regardless of what you say.

Sean McGuire I have said it before on the internet and I’ll say it again: As stand-alone movies, TLJ and TRoS are decent, but as *_STAR WARS_* movies, they are atrocious and blasphemous. They shit on all of the movies that cam before them. Sure, some of the dialogue in the prequels was a bit cringe, but at least it was respectful of he source material, and made a trilogy that follows the rules of, and respects the lore of, the movies that came before it. The only exception to this that I could think of would be midichlorians, but those are mentioned in throwaway lines in one movie, not as a major plot point of the movie. All in all, while not being the most critically acclaimed or best written Star Wars movies, the prequels at the very least create a story that makes sense in the context of the Star Wars universe, and is respectful of the characters.

This is one of the funniest and sincere reviews that I have heard from a non life long Star Wars fan, I laughed so hard at some of the video cuts. But you are right on the dot with the message. By the way, the funniest part when Han has that expression when Lea tells him that Luke is her brother...and what he really thinking is that brother/sister kiss scene in Empire Strikes Back.... Spot on. Your retelling of the Hero's Journey as it relates to A New Hope was fantastic.. My wife and I just watched the most recent Star Wars Movie, The Rise of Skywalker. We really enjoyed it. Not because it was anything original or had ground breaking costumes, designs, music, special effects, etc, but it was a fun movie to watch. In many ways it was the same story as A New Hope aka a Hero's Journey. We knew what we would get in the end and the journey to that end was fun to watch. The dialog was decent and the acting was good. You two keep making videos and we will keep watching.
