Medical student here. Hyperextended my shoulder during a military press and have been desperately trying to self diagnose. Possible shoulder separation since I have a raised acromian joint or bump Thanks to you I have narrowed it down to a frozen shoulder, capsular tightness or ACJ injury.

Update. I'm sure that it isn't a frozen shoulder. Pain only comes with range of motion on posterior medial rotation. I can get up most of the way up the back but not quite to the level of the other arm. ACJ is protruding but there was no pain when palpating the joint after injury.
