I have two shoulder replacements and I have an osteophyte on the T1 protruding into the base of my skull. Medicine and doctors gave up on me, they cut on me until I said STOP now I'm alone and live in daily pain. Is there anything you could suggest to help me sleep at night. I get about 4 hours a day sleep. Sometimes more but never 7 or 8. Not since 2008. It's miserable. I would do anything if you tell me to help me get more sleep. I don't take any meds for sleep, I don't like sleep meds. I only take 1 thing for ease and it's Kratom because it's safer than opiates, not by much but not as addictive. Please help me Bob And Brad

Had rotator cuff surgery about 7 weeks ago. Everything you point out in this video about sleeping/resting position for the repaired shoulder is SPOT ON! I was trying to sleep on the shoulder and paying the price of aches and pain the next day. Guilty of not supporting the arm with pillows properly to prevent the shoulder from sagging too. If I could click on the "like" button x10 I would . Thanks very much!

When it's both shoulders hurting, that's a real challenge! I like the pillow ideas for sleeping and in a chair. Both will be very helpful. Hello to Bob and hope he and his family are well. Many thanks to Brad and Mike as well. Have a blessed New Year.

I have biceps tendonitis from a fall in summer. Are you saying, surgery hasn't been a succes? How old are you? I am 67, I don't think surgery is good at my age. I am almost sitting up in bed, that causes the least pain. Big pillows in my back, plus a small pillow under my head .

This video very helpful for improving sleeping! I also have low back problems so I always use pillow between the knees when I am on my side. THE BOB AND BRAD SHOW STARRING BOB AND BRAD! Hello Bob and Brad! Big intro for I don't have a whole lot to allow. Several months ago my right shoulder became hurtey. I may have a little authur....but nnot much. Resting, no problem but raising the arm was painful. For reasons unknown it NEVER occurred to me to elevate the arm. I suspected the problem was the bed and I had a pillow on my left side....but I just never tried it on the right until I watched your vid. While your vid is not exactly life saving, it is right up there with it. After the first night the arm improved noticeably and a week down the line it's really good! All thanks to you guys!! Angels! Thanks!!! Wow!!!! Your bestest fan in Alabam, Norm

This is helpful, ive been trying to sleep on my side because it opens my right nostril up that seems to clog sleeping on back and then i snor. I found side sleeping relives that but never figure out what to do with my top arm 😂

Turn your Head to the side without Sleeping on your side. In fact prop a pillow under the back on just one side it will give you a light lift without pushing onto that shoulder altogether.

Curious about Brad's minimalist-looking shoes! Will check the video archive in case there's mention of them. P.S. I already had an impingement in my shoulder, went to PT for it but then a few years later was treated for breast cancer and the radiation exacerbated the shoulder issue and it returned and never really subsided even after some additional PT. Forgot about the shoulder canal technique and will be trying that again tonight for the first time in years.

I really wished I saw this a few years back when I had my accident. This really would have helped with my healing process. Four years later and I still have shoulder pain. My shoulder did not heal properly. There is actual nerve damage at this point. The signals are not sending properly.
