The answer is almost always no. And to kind of continue responding to your lesbianism video, being a woman and loving women honestly feels to me like the purest expression of femininity, love, and liberation. Like lesbianism is an open doorway to defining womanhood and femininity through terms of power and liberty rather than through terms of restriction and boundaries, as the patriarchy does. A world where attraction to women is inherently "masculine" or "manly" is so much smaller than a world where attraction to women can be the purest expression of femininity. But in the end, if its not coming from her where else would it come from? Again nobody involved with the film has made these allegations. It's all internet gossip based on Dr Phil's interview. She didn't just deny the allegations she actively spoke warmly about Kubrick. She gave interviews to Kubrick podcasts. She took part in a documentary made by his family. If there was any truth to this one would imagine she would merely say nothing. Regarding the yelling, it's funny you say that because Kubrick hated directors who raised their voice. That's what his long time chauffeur said he told him when he heard another director in an adjacent sound stage screaming. The specific instance you are talking about is from Vivian Kubrick's Making-Of-Doc where Shelley missed a cue on a complex shot that then had to be reset. It was at the end of the long production (Jack Nicholson had gone home already) and nerves were frayed. If you look at it again, he wasn't screaming, just frustrated and sticking up for his crew who now had to reset everything. In high stress situations, people lose their cool. There are stories about Spielberg screaming at his crew when they mess up. It's happened to all of us at some point. But the stuff you were saying was just crazy over the top - Thank God for Heart Attacks? Rest in Piss? Anyway thanks for responding this way.
