The aim was to document the full build but shortly after we filmed this lockdown began and there was no safe way to proceed. So this was the result of an hour filming with Paul

yep, fabricating.... basic in "chopper" history.... we didnt have after market like now, but like this gentleman, we had craftsmen... and not necessarily motorcycle guys...and they had ideas sometimes too... i cut up my college file folders and taped to gether a mock up of an oil tank, took it to a local weldshop id been driving by....got schooled real quick...'74ish....still have the prototype... my friends were butchering gas tanks... hand forging anything in flatbar or round stock... cross referencing parts from harley to manufactors... now if ya cant buy it and have it bolted on.... i know, old guy stuff, but ive seen some "kids" around got taste... but this has always been "fastpack" neighborhood full of motorheads, big inch vs quick rpm and keep it light and quick change able... love youse guys, keep up the good work, let those who ride decide
