That is one truly amazing motorcycle . But as someone who's got used to more traditional bikes the foot clutch made me sweat at traffic junctions ! . Keep up the good work buddy.

I crashed my bike the other day. My right handle bar bent in a bit and it is hard to ride it. How do you ride in slow with those bars? Anyway I like your gloves, I can't find those locally in my country. It's hard to find pure leather gloves here.

This is amazing! Would you mind sharing the details on what length the springer is, the geometry of the frame, rake and trail? I want the same stance for my ironhead but not sure how to get it to look the part and still handle well
@rezi-86917 жыл бұрын
The springer is 50.5 inches from axle to upper neck bearing. I guess its like +28. Frame 6 inches up and 2 forward with 53 deg rake. Springer has 5 deg rake and 6 inches rockers. Trail is 3 inches. Upper neck bearing is 43 inches from the ground. Wheels 19 and 21 inches. That is pretty much the spec. Bike is incredibly easy to handle even with those narrow bars.

Rezi, what is that camera setup you use? That's more than just a go-pro, is it not? Seems very balanced and like it's got shock absorption?
@rezi-86916 жыл бұрын
It's just a basic Go-Pro. Holder is mounted on helmet with double sided tape. No shock absortion. Camera goes crazy when it's mounted on the frame: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6bcq5ahoreqa5o

Beautiful deathtrap :)
@hyperluminalreality14 жыл бұрын
The only dangerous thing is no front brake. Turning radius is still better than any car. The clutch is a heel toe rocker that stays disengaged until you use your heel to rock it back. More like a real beautiful fun machine. Notice how smoothly and effortless it is to ride. It is not an unstable wobble machine. The rake and trail geometry have been properly addressed in this build. A rolling creation. You must be a dedicated, skilled and mature rider, yes. But just watch the vid, it sure does not look like he is tempting death in traffic to me. Lastly, any 150MPH crotch rocket sport bike is way more of a death trap. This bike is tame and safe by comparison.
@19413924 жыл бұрын
@@hyperluminalreality1 🤔 good reporting, especially on the clutch. No front brake is kinda’ freaky but he is a good rider.
@joalvarez62523 жыл бұрын

Only change I would make is to try a single row 530 O ring chain on the primary and install a simple flat chrome oil sling guard over it that curves over the top of the motor sprocket and clutch drum...just to keep primary chain oil from fanning everything on that side with oil.
@rezi-86914 жыл бұрын
HUGO FUGUSEV You are right. Oil keeps flying around. I had a protective piece of stainless steel but it broke down due the vibration in couple of weeks. So I removed it. I should make a new one
@earlystroker6 жыл бұрын
This shovel is so nice !!! love it !!! PURE 70" chopper !!! like the foot controls , the springer ,the oil bag and wheels are so cool !!where did you find them ? I'm looking for invaders for my rigid 67FL but these wheels are even better !!gretting from Brittany France
@rezi-86916 жыл бұрын
Thanks Earlystroker!! I didn't really buy anything. It's all garage build stuff. Go to my picture site at rezi.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Shovel+Chopper and see a lots of pictures of the building process.

@67cuda386 жыл бұрын
Love it ! But those narrow bars ?!!!
@rezi-86914 жыл бұрын
67 cuda Width of the bunny bars is meaningless as long as they are long enough. Bars like this are not turned like normal motorcycle bars but they are swinged from side to side. Therefore width is meaningless. Only length matters. Mine should be a couple of inches longer to be perfect and I will extend them one day
@19413924 жыл бұрын
@@rezi-8691 yeah a couple inches longer would help anyone. Great bike.....thanks.

Do foot clutch wear out clutches or cables..I've ridden one my uncle loaned me but only for like a year until I built my own so I'm thinking on building a personal bike in my shop and want foot clutch.
@rezi-86914 жыл бұрын
Bruce Kirk Foot clutch doesn’t eat clutches and there’s no cables. I have locking type of clutch not suicide so it’s safe and comfortable.

@Magnum-hr2vx5 жыл бұрын
@@NP-rh3dt too true, people say they're just ridiculous and uncomfortable, but they're the best bike you can have
@rezi-86914 жыл бұрын
Nathan Schweisberger Long choppers may look ridiculous for most of the people but they don’t need to be uncomfortable. Proper trail and bars will make it comfortable. Like this one.
