i looooove show and tell! 🖤 also that whole look is such a mood- the faded pink hair with icy eyeshadow is *chefs kiss * PS carbonated drinks like sparkling water and soda are worst for your teeth than sugar! because they are very acid drinks. some people are also more prone to cavities no matter their hygiene just because of their pH (it’s usually genetics) :’)

I think my teeth are definitely prone to cavities bc of my genetics 😪 when I was little I had a lot so I'm pretty much traumatized by the dentist now lol. i love this video so much !! i really resonate with the materialistic in a want to collect and appreciate art/life way too, like there is something so beautiful about collecting things over time and surrounding yourself with a room of little trinkets and things you love. and you are right about the headphones! listening to songs really hits different depending on what you listen with which is why personally im trying to build up a collection of records and cassette tapes, i just think the different sound qualities and formats are so neat, and maybe some day ill try cd :) , btw your make up looks so cool in this video

Sunday afternoon wouldn't be Sunday afternoon w/o a weekly flowlotl vid!❤️ It's ironic to me that you would think of yourself as an empty shell w/o the stuff you own and lov, I'll tell you why. I had to delete insta snd tiktok to save my sanity. So I started watching KZbin vids, I mean a lot, started out looking for vids abt fashion and film and discovered some girls who are The Smartest Girl in the Room (Elle Literacy, Shanspeare, Mina Le, Broey Deschanel and others). They start out w/ something like fashion and develop well-researched very deep, very intelligent social/cultural/economic critique from it. Deep stuff. KZbin's algorithm gave me more of that and one day, lo and behold a vid from a girl who goes by flowlotl pops up, "A video for the quiet girls". I was so blown away not just by intelligent, deeply thoughtful, and articulate you are, be even more so by your courage to be so vulnerable on screen to complete strangers. I had to watch your other vids, was very impressed by the depth of vids abt healing your inner child, reflections on turning 20, and lots more. So you may have stuff you cherish, but you are SO much more than that. Super duper bonus feature- your STYLE! Your fashion chops are first-rate, always full of wonderful creative surprises! I look like a potato compared to you lol 💕🥰!

Mina Le’s most recent vid is about the retro corporate aesthetic and I almost didn’t watch it since, tho I have a job, it’s not in an office or with a corporation, the clothes I wear to work would be regarded as wildly inappropriate in a “real” job, I didn’t think I would relate. But Mina Le never disappoints, I got a fashion-induced capsule economic history of the last 40 years and insights into the gender/social flashpoints of both then and now. Like That?" Utterly hilarious and ending up with deeply insightful gender/social/economic critique that is BETTER than what you would get in grad school (for which I paid a lot of money that I didn't have).
