As a Rolex GMT Master II owner, I really want one of these and will buy one soon. I may also add the blue ceramic bezel model as well. I love my Citizen watches but they are eco drive - and I really want a couple of these beautiful automatics.

I own this watch as well and love mine and the Pepsi bezel and the blue dial are amazing 🤩. I definitely think this is one of the most underrated Seiko blue dials and don’t know why .

yours is the J1...Made in Japan variant, which the premier model. Toss the bracelet, and go either Seiko OEM, Silicone, or the others quality after mrkt bands.Would avoid the steel bracelets as the tolerances mostly are incompatible.

I'm a Fan of the Seiko too. Like the traditional Pepsi Divers watch. I also like the Pagani Design PD1696. Its a homage watch but has multiple configurations and for around $140, cannot go wrong. I have one and wear it quite often. Think my previous statement was removed because I added a URL to comment.

It is definitely the coolest pepsi style watch, your version is the older version however. New version has lume at 3 o'clock as the diver standard changed. It is also a slightly darker blue on the dial. It also looks like your chapter ring is slightly off (looking at the 12 o'clock marker and how it lines up with the center of the indices.

Amazing Watch,I just ordered it.I too am a 90s kid.I remember going into a supermarket back then and seeing Gayle Sayers sitting at a table giving out autographs.His wife started a greeting card company.Funny things you used to see back then.Great vid!!! Edit:Dip a tooth pick in some loctite 222 and put a drop on each end of the pin.

I did a Pepsi challenge decades ago at an amusement park and chose Coke, 😂. I was surprised. I would put the Orient mini Triton Pepsi against this Seiko. It has the saphire crystal instead of the hardlex mineral. I've been considering the Orient. The red area of the bezel only goes to the 15 min mark, not the 20. I got introduced to a new micro brand Thai watch company called, Wise. Been marketing hard. They have this bronze case diver with a hatched white face dial that looks gorgeous from the photos. Still doing research on this company.

Hey brother, that Orient is pretty sweet but I just like my Pepsi Turtle a tad more. I looked into Wise a few years ago, almost bought a Hitman back then. I think they're legit. Wow I'm digging the Adamascus dials and Oh my God the Hitman HIT 12 w/ blue dial and bronze bezel I think I might have to buy! It is similar to the Oris Sixty-Five I want but at 7 times the price!

@@greginaustinTX en francais. Du calme. 😂. I think Wise may be a great and upcoming microbrand. I did get a used citizen flieger ecodrive for a hair over 100 bucks. It's the one with the cream dial. My second citizen. My first was an early 80s citizen quartz which I still own. I still have a working casio tc 500, the touch screen calculator watch from the early 80s. I took the battery out to preserve the watch from corrosion. Yes, I am a certifiable watch nut. I Iike the Oris bronze candy blue dial, btw. But, man they are expensive.

Bro if one of your pins is popping out it’s because there’s a collar that’s missing. Maybe take to a jeweler or authorized Seiko dealer they should help you with the bracelet. I’ve got mine on the stock bracelet and I love the bracelet.

Yea if the pin is coming out he definitely has a collar rolling around on the floor somewhere.i had that happen and said to hell with it and put thread lock in the hole where the pin is

Replace the cotter pin cheap fix you can buy a box of cotter pins on Amazon for about 7 bucks your jeweler will charge you more then that buy extra spring bars I use Barton heavy duty there about 5 bucks for 2 but well worth it.
