Pau wrote it at 13 or 14. Can't wrap my head that at that age she has perfectly defined love with "I need your daily poisoning". Never heard that metaphor about love before. Yes, we look forward to our love daily, steeping our souls in that person's existence or "poison". Genius!!! What intellectualism!!!

I find unsetting that songs like this and black holes, seems to be overlooked all the time, while to me, these represent the true potential of this band as a whole, I see them composing an art rock album that reaches the heights of classis rock albums mixing the intensity and roughness of hard rock, and at the same time express emotion and sensibility with songs like this. I really hope they keep touching lyrics and music like this in the coming years. No doubt they are genius.

This album is one of the most underrated I have even known. smh I could deal with a concert playing Century XXI Blood from start to finish. Dany's guitar work is unprecedented. Ale's bass is about as solid as you're going to find, and Pau's... well, Pau's everything. God, I love this album.
@SteelWalker724 күн бұрын
It's a special outing for sure. What sold me is their next album, ALWAYS the toughest, and they did what they did ❤

@mspray Absolutely, and had they not been independent I'm not sure that could have been. They are due though now, after earning their stripes, to revisit that and Jack it up significantly

The way Pau's voice cracks when she sings this ( and Black Holes) makes the character in the song sound that much more vulnerable. It just melts you heart.
@tonyroberts50682 жыл бұрын
You can hear the bass notes quite clearly on this number and realise how well Ale supports the melody. Dany's solo style and sound reminds me of Chris Rea. Its a beautiful piece of work. And Pau's voice carries this song along wonderfully - she had that hint of sultry rasp perfect for a rock singer.

I see many comments on Dany's solo style, but for me she could easily be David Gilmour's daugther with that. Just great.

One of the most powerful, emotive, and beautiful songs from the album. It's a shame Paulina didn't get more camera time for this live clip as she belts her heart out, but somewhat understandably since the keyboard was tucked into a dark corner. I wish I could tell them I get chills during the chorus of this song every time.

Wow! The bass sound is so great, it is powerful and deep as you can listen its rhythmical and melodic links to the whole band are excellent to listen especially when Ale slides to the next fret or note very fantastic. its sonic link to the vocal and lead is excellent and flawless. The vocal is perfectly incredible, the voice is excellent. The solo guitar is heavenly. This band is amazing! What a great voice, it is so lovely and terrific! And their blending of voices is just impeccable. This band is one of a kind, it is incredible!

So much beauty in this song...💞💔☯️🕉 Take my pain and despair And throw it away Let them starve by themselves Let them decay We don't need them anymore When we crumble to the ground We'll build ourselves up When we're lost, we'll be found Please don't give up All the things that we will have Tell me how it feels like Take off your disguise Show me the light Bring me down into your level Make me a rebel The stealer of your heart Stop the wait here's your chance Try not to look back Let's be free, show the world We'll turn out right What we need is what we have The two of us, it's enough Let's make our way Let's forget yesterday Start over again Take me far, don't think it twice Tell me how it feels like Take off your disguise Show me the light Bring me down into your level Make me a rebel Hold me please, never leave I need a daily poisoning Your words so deep, cut into me Whispers so loud they're deafening Hold me please, never leave I need a daily poisoning Your words so deep, cut into me Whispers so loud they're deafening Tell me how it feels like Tell me how it feels like Tell me how it feels like Take off your disguise Show me the light Bring me down into your level Make me a rebel The stealer of your heart (Hold me please, never leave I need a daily poisoning) The stealer of your heart (Your words so deep, cut into me Whispers so loud) The stealer of your heart 💜 ❤️

Fantastic song and performance by Paulina. I remembered Dany's solo from listening to it a couple of years ago and had to look it up. I have to say now, that it is even better than I remembered it. Dany's tone, feel and phrasing are amazing and go way beyond her 17 yrs. I get teared up every time I listen to it. Ale's bass playing is also way beyond her years and perfectly complements the guitar and Paulina's vocals.

My only criticism is why was Pau back there? They didn’t even put a light (not a pun) on her. And i wished that guitar solo was a little longer.
